I already have some plastic pouches that I currently use with a heat sealer. Can i still use thse bags with your vacuum sealer ?

Basically yes-if you have any heat seal(ed) pouches these will work no problem. After using this great gadget for a while now, I have found that packaging such as multipacks of crisps etc. work just as well.If you are freezing ensure though that you are using proper thicker bags- (crisp bags for example don't protect from freezer burn).

I do not eat banana but soft fruit like grapes and berry's is best sealed in containers as bags will crush them in containers I can keep them in the fridge for over a week.

can you unseal and re-use your pouches to save you buying expensive pouches?

I've never tried, but it might be worth a go! You'd need to make sure all grease, etc, was thoroughly washed out and dried as you won't get a good seal other wise. I get these rolls of bags and they seal perfectly for boiling and microwaving after defrosting, and work out quite economical, I think.
