Quick review
I rely on reviews when shopping on Amazon and other major e-commerce sites—how else can you know if a product lives up to its claims? Sure, Amazon makes returns easy, but that convenience comes at a slight premium. Whether you're a Prime member or not, the added security of shopping here has a price.Finding genuinely great deals is rare, but this chlorine is one of them. After searching everywhere for a quality spa chlorine at a fair price, I finally found it. My local spa dealer charges $25 for 2 lbs—this is $34 for five. That’s 2015 pricing, and I know because that’s when I bought my original tub. The quality is the same, the packaging is even nicer, and unless something changes, I’ll never buy another brand again. This is a true bargain.

Excellent product at a very fair price
Use in my hot tub twice a week, and have no problems with my water chemistry.

Works great for our spa/hot tub
We've been using this and the Renew product to maintain our Hot Tub's. We got turned on to this brand when we purchased our first home in 2013 and it came with a hot tub, we've since sold that home (and hot tub) and at our newer home, purchased a new hot tub and have used these chemicals exclusively (and not accepting the chemicals from the Spa retailer at purchase. They are very easy to use, generally speaking for our 450-500g hot tubs, we'd use a scoop full about once a week, alternating them. The hot tub is really only used by one person, 2-3 times a week. With less usage we lower the frequency of adding chemicals, more usage, we'll add more. This is very much a "feel" way of managing the levels, but checking levels with the test strips, it's been almost flawless. When we expect the FC to be low, it usually it, and it's never too high. This obviously doesn't work on a public use or heavy use (rental properties, etc.) but for private residence with one, or occasionally two users and generally speaking low overall use, this method works great. These products are easy on my skin and haven't caused any irritation/itchiness. Another private pool I use on a regular basis usually irritates my skin and it's levels are "normal" for FC, but it's a different brand of chemicals. Definitely a fan of the Spa56 and Renew products made by Leisure Time.

Do yourself a favor--put this into an easier to open container
Seems good, however the opening of the product is absolutely unergonomic. Especially if you are female and have nails, to squeeze in on the "tabs" and turn the huge top at the same time against the slippery label is ludicrous. At the time, I had also sliced my finger during yard work so it was NOT a fun time. I immediately transferred the product (don't inhale while doing it) into an easier to open bottle.

Excellent value for hot tubs
Compaired to other brands this one is an excellent value. Does what it needs to do and is just what I need to boost my saltwater spa.
