I guess bike handlebars are not standardized. Thus, even with the thick Garmin shim, the Power Mount "rolls" around the bar, so I just bought some 1/8" thick neoprene padding to wrap around my handlebar. It would be nice if Garmin included thicker factory shims to obviate this extra step, but this is a minor complaint. Otherwise, the device is awesome!

Was thrilled to find that there’s a Power Mount version that’s compatible with Cannondale’s SmartSense system. I have 2 bikes with SmartSense and have been pretty satisfied with the Garmin Edge Explore 2. SO DISAPPOINTING that the mount is only left of center (where the light bracket is on Cannondale SmartSense or “L” models). Seriously - product developers - how do you collaborate and come up with a product that can only mount off-center? Returning because it was a great way to ruin a good idea to anticipate 2 open ports on the SmartSense light 🤦🏻♀️
