Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Body Stick 45g

What the actual hell?! This stick is now my deodorant. I virtually do not have any underarm odor because of this product. I use it everyday and get no irritations nor clog underarm pores. This is a huge deal for me because I suffered from body odor all my life and every antiperspirants Ive tried couldn’t fully stop the odor. Im talking about showering scrubbing but still odor by end of day from sweating. I eventually found another product after high school. Before this stick, I used to used the ordinary glycolic acid liquid but it was messy and dependent on how much you used it. This stick is a one swipe and go all day!! Sometimes I don’t put on when im home and i still had no odor. I do find the product to be a little too soft textured inside the stick tho. I am very extra careful to not use up all the products with my heavy hand. Wish the texture was a more solid and firm inside the tube. I feel like if it’s left in a hot climate, it would melt. Also the price is a pain but when a product completely blocks my odor (maybe by killing or reducing bacteria overgrowth?) i just clutch my little purse while checking out cart.

This stuff is like holy grail. I’ve used it on facial acne, body acne and calluses. It works fast, my heels are soft, my face is smoothening out, it’s getting rid of those tiny little bumps I’ve gotten on my chin and cheeks since turning 25, and my body acne/ ingrowns heal fast. I haven’t dealt with any peeling or burns but I only use at night as glycolic acid can cause burns in the sun. I also don’t use other chemical exfoliants as much, as this one has been much more gentle and effective. I’ll be purchasing again and probably get one stick for each body part is use it on.

This product burned my skin and left it red, itchy, and extremely dry - with no obvious impact or improvement beyond redness and scaling. It has taken me weeks to repair the damage done. As several other users noted, the product itself is close to liquid in a stick and would need constant replacement - if it wasn't so painful to use. (I followed the suggested gradual introduction. Didn't matter.) I regret repeated use in the hope of some positive result. Save your money and skip the pain.

Paid $20, only got $10 worth. 🤣 Not worth the trouble to return. The strange thing is there’s no goop on the outside, it didn’t leak out. Guess it wasn’t filled properly? I’m updating to 3 stars because my half stick seems to be working. I may give this one more chance in the hopes this will not happen to me again.

I have used this for keeping my HS flares under control and it’s been a highly effective tool in my suppressive therapy. Be warned, do not use it daily at first and don’t use it on freshly shaved skin. It is an *ACID* exfoliant. Using it too frequently too soon can damage your skin’s moisture barrier. Anyway, this also seconds as a secret weapon as a SWEATY BIH. Combined with benzoyl peroxide wash and application after a shower, it stops my sweating and therefore any stank for like 2-3 days. This one is a permanent item in my rotation at this point.

Just ordered my second one! It runs on nice, stays and I’m beginning to see keratosis fade, shrink and soften. I see it won’t happen overnight but it’s the best progress I’ve had so far!

This is so genius! I've been looking for something like that for so long and I finally met this one which is doing a fantastic job! The glycolic acid is ideal to kill the microbes in the armpits which are responsible for the bad smell. The downside is that this product wont be gentle for daily use on sensitive, fair skin as mine so I just use it on Sundays and the rest of the week I use potassium alum crystal deodorant which is so great for me. It is gentle, aluminum chlorohydrate free and completely natural as it is a mineral salt crystal. The product is good for the sole of the foot and groin aswell.
