Build quality feels premium
Excellent DisplayPort 2.1 cable. Build quality feels premium, the connectors fit securely, and I’ve had zero signal issues. It handles high resolutions and refresh rates without any flickering, black screens, or dropouts.

Working well - extra bit of reach appreciated
I needed a decent DisplayPort cable to accommodate the increased distance one of my monitors was now positioned away from my PC with the purchase of a new, larger desk. The 6-foot previous cable was barely making the connection and it was obviously stressing, pulling uncomfortably sitting in the port of the GPU. Ack. Don't need that. This cable is rated for DisplayPort version 2.1, VESA certified, and can easily handle 1440p / 4K monitors needing gaming-speed FPS. If that matters to you. For me not really, but I went with it because DP 2.1 (which this monitor spec's out on) and VESA certification is nice too. That extra 0.6 foot of additional length (7.2 inches) really helped. I can move the monitor to where I wanted it and the end of the cable going into the GPU port no longer looks like it's applying enough tension to set a mousetrap spring directly into my expensive graphics card. The cable is braided, fairly flexible yet still stiff enough to make me think it should hold up over time. I have had no problems with it working, monitor and computer are communicating as well as they've ever. Problems? Only one I noticed. More of a potential minor issue and really the monitor manufacturers "fault" if anything. The Monitor this cable is going into has its port connections on the very bottom of the screen all facing downwards towards the floor, instead of sideways like some older / less expensive monitors might have. In addition, there is this little "shelf" that the concealment cover uses to lock its tabs into, which sits directly opposite of the ports where cables go into. With most cables - including the power cable, USB cables and so on - they fit into their respective ports on the bottom there deep enough and with enough clearance so the plug / cord doesn't feel jammed in up against that opposite shelf lip. No so with this cord. The plug is just long enough and the cable inflexible enough, that it was a little tough to get this cable to mate in with the port because of that shelf they molded into the back of my monitor. Once I got it seated in, it was fine. Certainly shouldn't pop out or go anywhere! But it did take some finesse. It is set up now, and its working... so I can't complain. I think for the money this is a good cable. I mean, these things are not exactly super high-tech... but they should work as promised and so far this one is performing as expected. Happy with the purchase.

Excellent high-end DisplayPort 2.1 cable – finally something that actually delivers
I bought this Silkland 80Gbps DP 2.1 cable to run an 8K monitor at high refresh rates and it performs exactly as advertised. I’m getting a clean, stable 8K@240Hz signal with my RTX 4090 and it handles 4K@540Hz without any issues. The cable is well-made, flexible enough for easy routing, and the gold-plated connectors feel premium. No signal dropouts, no flickering, no compression artifacts — just rock-solid performance. The 6.6ft (2m) length is perfect for my setup. VESA certification is clearly shown and it actually lives up to the spec, which is rare for DP 2.1 cables in this price range. If you need a true high-bandwidth DisplayPort 2.1 cable that can handle the latest monitors and GPUs at maximum settings, this one is worth every penny. Highly recommended.

They conform to the display port or HDMI standard they advertise, always
For years now when I need a cable I buy a Silkland. Often cables that show certification for the HDMI 2.1 standard or the new display port 2.1 standard do not actually meet the bandwidth requirements, with Silkland cables, you're getting exactly what's represented and all of their cables in my years of using them have always conformed to whatever standard They advertise. The build quality on the cables is also top-notch. I'm willing to pay a few extra dollars to get these cables because I feel they still represent an outstanding value and they flat out work.

Quality Cables
These are heavy, but not so heavy as to be inflexible. The feature that matters most is that supported high bandwidth. For that, construction has to be solid, and these are solid, dependable cables. These cables are available in several lengths, up to the recommended maximum. Build quality is consistent across all cable lengths.

Do Not Buy - Mine was Defective.
Purchased for 240mhz, DP2.1 monitor. After a week of screen flickering and numerous driver troubleshooting to no avail, accidently discovered the cable was resting 3 inches from a power strip. Moved the cable from the immediate area of the power strip ...no more flickering! Runs great. Generally, not a good idea to be close to power strip, but not sure whether shielding on this cable is as beefy as other brands might offer. With that caution would buy again. Further review, comments: After additional problems with flickering when the cable moved around, I purchased another brand. No problems with the other brand. I have concluded this brand has a defect in either quality or build. I am about 20 days beyond the return date, but hope the vendor sees this Review and replaces the cable.

Who needs VESA certification? 16.5ft works FLAWLESSLY!
I was hesitant because the 16.5ft cable isn't VESA certified, but ultimately the product works great. I am running my 39GX950B, 5K2K@165Hz with full bandwidth and 0 problems. Ultimately the VESA certification is really just a "this meets our criteria" type standard, but that doesn't mean non-VESA certified products are bad -- and this cable proves that. It's built like a tank (seriously, it's dummy thicc and about as flexible as a brick wall), and WORKS WITHOUT PROBLEMS!
