Fab Little Camera.
This is a great little camera. I fitted the original one in my hallway to monitor the front door. I mounted it directly in the plaster ceiling and it looks very clean. The down side is the motor has very slight vibrations and they are amplified by the plater ceiling so while in the hall the motor that tracks a persons movements is loud and noticeable.I use the camera with HomeKit and it works great the person tracking is still working while you view the camera in HomeKit but if you want to manual pan or tilt the camera you need to use the eufy app. Not a big deal as tracking is the best option for me. The eufy app also allows geolocation so you can use the alarm function when you are away from home. This is specific to the eufy app and it not linked to the HomeKit geofencing.I loved the camera and decided to get another for the living room as it can monitor the patio doors. This time I pointed it using a separately purchased mounting bracket. This has greatly reduced the motor noise. you can't hear it move even in a silent room. You only hear it if you stand directly next to the camera. Perfect! The picture quality is great, even on the 1080p limit with HomeKit secure video. I use the black and white night vision in the hallway as it has no windows and it often completely dark. The night vision quality is fantastic. overall this is a great camera, I use it with HomeKit and the eufy app simultaneously, HomeKit for recording and eufy app for alarm features and it works well.

Excellent product
So a while back I decided that I’d let the Chinese spy on my mundane life and equip my entire house with their cameras. I must say that if a bunch of bureaucrats in Beijing are enjoying to watch my garden / front door / dog and in return they’re providing the excellent customer services this company provides, then I can live with this trade off.The camera is my second indoor one , after the first one decided to take a plunge from the mantle to the floor and couldn’t be saved. Eufy gave me a discount for this one and I needed toEmail them the Amazon order number to get a partial refund (god knows how they do that). The camera’s quality is great. Much better than its predecessor. The AI seems on point - I have yet to receive any “false alarm” and it seems to be able to follow the dog quite well when asked to.You get the usual functions : talk (like an intercom), alarm, and the usual “pen and tilt” mode which allows you to manually move the camera. You can also set predefined positions which you can toggle between, and there is a new option to get a panoramic view. The camera is a stand alone and doesn’t need the HomeBase hub in order to work. However if you do have a Eufy HomeBase you can see the device on it.Because it’s a standalone - you do need to purchase a memory card which stores the videos. To conclude - I’m very happy with the Chinese from Eufy and the utilization of their spy craft expertise to protect my home. If my family and I are reality hero’s somewhere in Xian - it’s a price I’m willing to pay.The functionality of the one Arlo I have doesn’t match up in my opinion. And the fact that this doesn’t have any monthly fees is really important (I think Arlo and Eufy are the only companies to work with that model and still you get all the functions). The design is slick and compact and the Ai is solid. The connectivity is great but hard for me to really say otherwise as my router is on a direct line and quite close. Highly recommend this product.

Great remote control camera for indoor use
Used as a temporary doggy-cam when we were away for the weekend to keep an eye on both the dog and the dog sitter who popped in occasionally to walk, feed and pay attention to our pupper. Easy enough to set up, we didn't really need recording but understand this can accommodate an SD card as well as linking to their cloud offerings if you wish. Real-time viewing was enough for us, although if you've never owned a eufy camera you can likley get a free trial of the recording service to see if its worth it for you. The quality was good, compared to some older cameras we've had that were only "HD" (often 1080i or 720p) this "4K" lens isn't exactly HDR movie quality but is good considering the price. Best of all is the PTZ or ability to rotate the camera or have it track movement so its always looking in the right place. This is probably more useful for recordings than live view but seemed to work pretty well during our tests.

Quality camera
The Eufy indoor camera is really good.Already have other Eufy cameras, so app already on phone making setup easy. The camera itself is very easy to install and rotates up and down, left and right and is good at tracking. The picture quality is what i expect for a 4k camera and the zoom is excellent as well.Connected to the Homebase 3, making it easier for recording and monitoring when out or wanting to check that your pet is ok whilst doing other things around the houseWould buy again if i ever need another one.

good but with heavy limitations
the goodQuality of daytime/night recording is greatPan tilt works smoothlySetup was easyThe badNo ability to download footage by setting a time frame ie I want to download a continuous recording from 12:00 to 13:00, the app does not support which is really annoyingthe vertical tilt could use more range, its a little inconvenient with its limited rangeAudio quality isn't the bestno ability to schedule different detection modes, ie detect pets at x time but not humans etcno ability to name people or pets that are detectedno support for ftp backup or easy access to the sd card from within the appoverall I don't think the company invests enough in their app development or does things quick enough
