My boys, ages 7 and 10 , love these books. There is a ton of information in the books about true events. They can be a bit detailed with the fighting and killing so if you are not ready to expose your kids to this than wait on these books.

Kids love reading this series and learning cool new information.

Hard to tell before seeing it that it requires a 3rd to 4th grade level reader.
