RØDE DeadCat VMP+ Windshield for VideoMic Pro+ Artificial Fur Wind Shield Furry Cover,Grey

The deadcat fits perfectly onto my rhode pro microphone. Also very easy to install, the only thing I do not like about it, is that it seems to muffle a bit of the sound with the extra covering. Other than that, it works great very affective in reducing the wind noise. We use it for car videos, to be able to record vehicles moving and get the noise of the engine without having to hear the wind in the background.

Absolutely a must have. No idea why the mic doesn’t come either this from factory

I'm using the RODE equipment with my Canon EOS R camera. It works great.

It does what it should. Obviously, it can't stop all wind noise in a strong wind, but it really cuts it back and I can get most of it in post production.

Its great for the Rode Video Mic Pro+ it reduces the wind a lot more than the stock mic sock, but I think it is a little over priced but great quality!

Great product with back rubber grip mount that securely attaches to the microphone. I wish the inside was the same material as the regular mic cover but I think is to let more sound in. None the less is the only of it's kind that fits the vmp+ so its worth the extra money instead of spending time trying to fit the sock stile deadcats over the regular mic wind protector.

I only received the branded cardboard packaging, but the microphone windscreen was not included. I am living outside the US and Rode expect to send back a piece of cardboard to get my money back!

Très bon Dead-Cat, devrait remplacer la mousse par défaut du VideoMic Pro+ ! Utilisé dans diverses conditions, en extérieur et sous terre, en milieu humide, sous la pluie, ne nous a jamais fait défaut.
