Why am I not getting 5Gbps speeds?

• Ensure your USB-C port supports USB 3.1 Gen 1 or later. • Your router/switch must support 5GbE speeds. • Use a CAT 6a or better Ethernet cable. • Some devices limit speeds to 2.5Gbps or lower.

Why is my connection limited to 2.5Gbps or lower?

• If your router/switch supports only 2.5GbE, 1GbE, or lower, the adapter will auto-adjust. • Some USB-C ports provide only 5Gbps total bandwidth, limiting networking speeds.

Does this work with all USB-C devices?

• No. It requires a USB 3.1 Gen 1+ port with data transfer. • It will not work on power-only USB-C ports (often found on some laptops and tablets).

Do I need to install drivers?

Dobry karta sieciowa 5gb

Nareszcie karta sieciowa która działa. W opisie brak jednej rzeczy ,musi być USB c 3.2 gen 2 aby było dostępne pełne łącze 5 GB , na USB c 3.1 to prędkości max 2,5 GB ,natomiast na 3.0 co jest głównie normą w laptopach to poniżej 2 GB/s. Karta się grzeje przy ciągłej pracy,ale działa,nie wyłącza się.

It's ok

I don't normally do reviews, this is for the 5gig model. Out of the box experience is HORRIBLE. Windows can not download a proper driver, it trys to use one from 2016. Research showed it uses an RTL8157 chipset and all you have to do is download the driver from Realtek themselves. Went from 1.5gig up and down to 4.75gig which is basically max because of software overhead and blah blah blah. If you absolutely have to have full 5gig. You need to get a 10gig unit. It functions absolutely fine, been playing all day on multiplayer games with zero issues. I have 5gig up and down with ziply fiber. 4ms ping across the board. Recommend
