Sky Lightweight Full Size 4/4 Triangular Violin Case Blue Color

I found a nice violin at a vintage flea market, but the case was a moldy mess. I bought this cheap case since I wasn't sure at the time if the violin was the quality instrument I was hoping for and I didn't want to sink too much money into it.After a trip to the luthier, the violin is in fine, playable shape and this case is its new home.The case has done its job. It is extremely light weight and functional. No bells or whistles. This is probably good enough for a student instrument, but I wouldn't trust anything more expensive inside it.One complaint is that the bow storage is really tight. I find it a struggle to fit bows into the bow rests, and you don't want to be forcing bows into cramped spaces.

I took this on a 7 week trip and didn't want my violin to slow me down. It fit easily in the overhead bins on the plane and no one looked twice at me bringing it. This case did the job.PROS:- lightweight- colorful- decent outer pocket size (fit a sketchbook and watercolors inside)- fit my Kün shoulder rest inside by the pegsCONS:- thin straps- not durable (one strap broke and had to sew it back. I didn't feel comfortable wearing it slung on one shoulder after that)- outer pocket can't quite fit sheet music- it's not super protective, it's just foam, but since that's not what I was looking for nor is it advertised that way, I don't count this as a true negativeHappy overall with the experience. Just wish the straps were sewed on better.
