I was pleasantly surprised at the quality wood grain cabinet as I was unboxing the unit. I will mainly be using it for the USB, FM and CD's. I think the sound is amazing at this price point and having three speakers on each side of the cabinet makes the sound much better than a BOSE which costs three times as much, so don't waste your money, buy the KEiiD instead. I also have much better control over the bass and treble as compared to a BOSE I used to have. The VW radio receiver is also outstanding for this price point once again. I am sure there are compact stereos on the market for well over $1,000 that sound better than this unit, but even then, how much better can the audio be discerned by most of our ears. Maybe, unless you're an audio aficionado and in that case spend the $1,000 then. Just a great unit, and as has been explained, this unit will not broadcast AM radio. So, I can't understand the couple complaints about this, when the seller has already explained this in the advertisement. In conclusion this is a great, great compact stereo for this price point. I am sure that I will be enjoying my KEiiD for years to come!

I am pretty happy with this little system, but my musician son is not. Is it possible to attach external speakers to the back to give it more power? has anyone done this? Thanks!

Unit looked GREAT/sound was very good......Died within 60 seconds of listening. What was worse... trying to get in contact with the company.....no email/fhat or human. Even had a 4hour hassle with Amazon to return.Given wrong info at Amazon and UPS......finally a refund !

I’m super-happy with this purchase. I was looking for a multipurpose piece of audio that would also look great in my living room. This unit works as a cd player, Bluetooth sound bar, and home theater system. The black hardwood finish gives is exactly the classy vibe to compliment my other audio/video pieces, as well as my furniture. It is sexy-looking and solidly built! But how does it sound? AWESOME – crisp, clean, and powerful. The equalizer presets for different music (rock, jazz, pop, etc.) are convenient and you can also adjust the equalizer manually. Plus, there’s a remote control for the basic functions, including phone calls. Overall, this was a great purchase. I’ve had this system for a little over a month and pump it every day!

The sound seems fine and I like the antenna which picks up my favorite FM stations despite living in a little valley. Cons: It also turns completely off sometimes when playing a CD. The interface is strange. Evidently some part of this system was made for VW cars and so it reflects that in the interface screen buttons. This means it is not intuitive. Some items are irrelevant. Another weird thing is that it automatically replays a CD so you have to pay attention if you want to change it. The manual is not very clear.

This is the second post I’ve made on this radio. The first radio arrived damaged and only partially working, so I gave it a poor rating. The vendors offered me a new, free radio if I would replace the first post. This shows the extraordinary power of Amazon ratings. The second radio arrived undamaged and works OK. Unfortunately, AM radio still doesn’t work in the U.S. Instead of fixing it, the vendors have stated “(AM not works, Please do not buy if you need AM radio).”For this post. After adjusting the tone controls, I found them “comparable.” For a better evaluation, you’ll need better ears.
