Connect an old camcorder to a modern flat screen flat tv
I bought this lead some time ago at the same time as the flat screen tv. I’ve come to use it today, and after a bit of trial and error, got it to work with good results. One thing to note is that the white plug Is Video, as normally it is the yellow one. the red and yellow are for the stereo sound channels. As can be seen from the video, the picture on the TV (also supplied by Amazon) is of a good clear quality. I am pleased with it.

Works for FiiO “M” players coax output
The package did not include the TRRS adapter shown on the listing, but by some miracle the pin out works for FiiO’s newer generation DAPs (connecting the yellow connector to your DAC) - extra bonus, line out cable too. If you’ve misplaced your original TRRS to phono adapter like I have, this cable will get you by.

Red wire is for video, not yellow, SONY users need to use the extra adapter
Great cable. Used this to plug my dad's old dvd player in to his new Sony TV. I had already read them other reviews so I knew that I had to plug the red cable in to the yellow socket on the back of the DVD player for thre video output and then the white and yellow cables will be your audio left and right respectively. For the little Sony AV input socket you will need to use the extra adapter Jack included in the packet otherwise you will get buzzing noise. I think that socket is called a OMTP to CTIA adapter. When all said and done my dad's very happy with the picture and it's as good as the old scart cable he used to have on the old TV.

Cheap n cheerful does exactly what you want
May be cheap but works great, no interference. No point buying expensive cables when these do just as good a job.

Not fit for purpose
This is a very cheaply-made product. The shield on the RCA plugs are barely thicker than a heavy metal foil and have no grip whatsoever, hence making adequate connection impossible. Worse still, the centre pin of one RCA plug bent on insertion, and quickly broke off when gently trying to straighten it. Thankfully, Amazon's excellent customer service immediately issued a refund without requiring me to return the article. However, a word of advice to Amazon: it looks like you're trying to provide ultra-cheap options that have a risk of not being adequate quality, while backing this up with yoir legendary customer service. However, I'm not sure this is a good strategy, as while I am happy you refunded without question, I am still disappointed at the time wasted with a product that is clearly not fit for purpose. My personal experience is that ot makes me far more cautious about buying from Amazon.

Works perfectly (for an specific use)
I have a modified pair of the legendary Sony MH-1 Live Sound headphones from the early 2000's, incidentally just £10 for headphones that equal £1000 pairs for sound. Technically they are a Headset and use the old standard for the order of the contacts on the plug. These adapters allow the conversion of the 3.5mm OMTP to 3.5mm CTIA standards. They DO NOT take the 2.5mm/balanced plug. I plug my MH-1's in to the OMTP/CTIA converter -------> to my Cyrus Soundkey DAC -------> to my USB-c port of my phone. Works brilliantly and has saved my spending a grand on audiophile IEM's! Highly recommended. They woul

Preis-Leistung stimmt – klare Kaufempfehlung!

To preface this, my Nissan Murano came with a built in DVD media player. It was replaced with a 128 gig SD card slot enabled one that supports far more media file formats video wise. That player required one of these AV cables, and came with one, but it was accidentally damaged by someone who was in my car. I’ve ordered 6 different brands from varying places and each one had issues and wasn’t up to the quality of the original one. One would produce a poor picture with signal interference in the picture or even require constantly moving around to get a proper image, another would produce poor sound that would cut out of the left or right sound channels. At that point I all but gave up and thought I’d have to buy an expensive media player again because the media player company wouldn’t sell or ship this cable on its own, and all the other similar cables I’ve tried failed right away. This cable sounds fantastic, at the length I purchased, bellow 6 feet, there’s no signal degradation, even though it’s an older analog style cable that doesn’t seem particulary shielded. The sound is crisp and clean and the bass on the music videos I play sounds clear and present. The picture is not fuzzy, nor is it distorted. I’ve had this for a very short while, but every other cable let me down right away, this one has been used 3 times so far, and it seems to function just like the original, minus the thicker cable shielding on the first one. It’s also nice to have music videos back on my navigation screen, though for safety reasons, the built in media center won’t play video while the car is in motion, you can hear the audio, but the picture will only be mirrored for the rear head rear screens, which is how Nissan engineered it, and it’s not something I’ll tamper with as I don’t want to void the manufacturer warranty, so I’m finnaly content.
