Q: I can't get my winter coat dry cleaned at the moment due to covid and shops closing, would this help with eliminating smells of storage etc?

I don't think this is meant for fabrics but it hasn't had any negative effect on my own and it's pretty good at hiding bad smells. That said it doesn't seem to last very long and can make fabrics feel damp immediately after use. If you're only using your jacket for a couple of hours I doubt anyone will notice the smell. It's a favourite of mine for hiding the smell of body odor in the air, feet smells in the hallway and strong smelling foods like garlic. I would recommend giving it a go. My advice if you do choose to buy it would be to lay out your jacket on a flat surface and spray the air just above the jacket (not spraying jacket directly), wait a couple of minutes then turn it and do the same on the other side.
