Very happy with this little bit of kit - it connects easily to my Action 4 camera (and can be used to remote start recordings), came with wind muffs, a neat magnetic charging cradle, a strong magnetic mount for clothing when the built in clip isn't useable - plus a little bag to keep it in. Tiny, so easy to mount inside my helmet to reduce the wind noise recording on the bike (when the track season starts up again). Sound quality is decent - and bonus points, it also connects to a windows laptop so it's now my go-to mic for meetings.

A great little mic and I do mean little have a look at my video, which was recorded with the mic paired with my phone. It comes with all the parts you need, the charging cradle, the mic, mic clip, magnetic holder, dead cats, pouch and the mic itself. I have worn it on my shirt and have wandered around the house whilst recording to my phone which I left in a different room and it worked very well. Simple to use and for its relatively low cost great value for money. It’s all well put together and it works with my Osmo Mobile 7P too so I am very happy. I have recorded a couple of videos already and I think I am already seeing a difference compared to the phones own mic. DJI products are well made and simple to use and sync with their Mimo Software on the phone. Pairing was simple, I have only charged it once so far in a month so battery life and use seems good, as I say in the video it is compact and relatively lightweight so is comfortable whilst secured to a shirt etc.

Beware! The description is misleading in terms of its connectivity via Bluetooth on iPhone and Android phones, which is true because I did pair it easily and successfully, but I could not use the DJI Mic Mini with neither iPhone nor Android phone cameras nor their default audio recording apps. What is the point of it Bluetooth connectivity, I wonder? I did some research subsequently and realised that it would only work with other third-party camera apps (another download, and another mindful consideration before any recording - which is beyond my expectation in terms of ease of use). I've requested a return, unfortunately, irrespective of how much I liked the design and quality of its built. A short note to DJI: please get the basics right.

I bought the DJI Mic Mini to use with my DJI Osmo Action 4, and I’m genuinely impressed. It arrived very well packaged and feels like a quality product straight out of the box. The mic is minuscule and light, so it’s barely noticeable when wearing it. Setup was simple and straightforward, and it just worked without any messing around. The magnetic clip is much stronger than I expected and feels very secure. Audio quality is excellent—clear and natural sounding, and a big improvement over the camera’s built-in mic. After using it for a while, I honestly haven’t found any downsides yet. Very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it.

The DJI Mini Mic is a great little piece of kit – compact, easy to use, and it delivers really clear audio. I’ve enjoyed using it and it definitely adds a more professional touch compared to relying on in-camera sound. One thing to keep in mind is that you do need a gimbal or transmitter to make the most out of it, so it’s not totally “plug and play” on its own. As long as you’ve got the right setup, though, it works really well and is definitely worth having in your bag.

Can’t complain about the mic Mini for the price. Sound quality is good, it’s reliable, small, lightweight and has great battery life. I always use it with a the included dead cat because I hate wind noise. Will connect directly with a phone or DJI camera via Bluetooth or you can buy the receiver.

I’m very impressed with the DJI Mic Mini Transmitter. The microphone is extremely small and lightweight, yet the audio quality is surprisingly clear and professional. Small, but mighty! I bought the Mic Mini to pair with my Osmo Pocket 3. I already have Mic 2 that I received with the Pocket 3, but I mostly use it on the Action 5 Pro. So, I needed another Mic for my Pocket 3. The Mic Mini doesn't have that 32-bit float recording like the Mic 2 has, but I don't use my Pocket 3 as much as I do the Action 5. The audio quality in the Mic Mini is very good. I love that this Mic is small and discreet versus the Mic 2 and doesn't pull my shirt down. Granted, I could have just purchased the Mic 3, but that is out of my price range for now. The Mic Mini is easy to use, durable, compatible with the DJI products and paired with my Pocket 3 quickly.
