Medallion Chenille Bedspread

Standard Sham and Bedspread. Beautiful in every way. Nice hang, lightweight, cheery color. Washable. I also have the set in green.

I had to write this review because I rely heavily on other people's reviews. That said, I'll begin by saying that I just received my chenille bedspread and I'm 100% happy with my purchase. I smiled hugely when I opened the box because, although I was slightly anxious when I ordered it because of the reviews that dealt with size and thickness (or thinness), I knew immediately that I had made the right decision. (1) This is truly a vintage-inspired bedspread -- just like Grammy used to have. I was slightly concerned because the picture makes it look puffy. It's not. (2) It's thin but not in a cheap way. You can see through the non-embellished parts to the same degree you can see through quality, unlined, white linen pants. If you're not wearing a leopard print thong underneath, you're fine. (Ladies, you know what I'm talking about.) One of the pictures shows my hand under the bedspread, so you can see for yourself. (3) I love the fringe! The picture makes it look as though a separate piece was sewn on. This is not the case. The fringe is an extension of the bedspread, as it should be. (4) Here, I will explain the size in detail. The king spread claims it's 118x120. I didn't measure it; however, if you look at my pictures, you can determine whether or not it will work for you. I have a king (76"x80") Saatva bed with a 14.5" mattress and an 8.75" foundation. Combined with the frame, which is 8" from the floor, my bed sits about 33+" high. (I know that's higher than the math would tell you, but it is what it is.) You can see in my pics that the king spread hits the bed frame. Since I haven't found a bigger spread, this is fine with me. I will be ordering a bedskirt. No big deal. (5) Shams. Again, as you can see in my pictures, you do not need shams. If you place the spread evenly on the bed so that it hits the frame in the same place all the way around, you have more than enough to cover your pillows. Of course, if you want them as decorative accents, go for it. (6) Lint. I don't know what some others are referring to, but it doesn't appear to be extraordinarily linty. I shook it out, put it on, no issues. Maybe after washing, there'll be lots of lint in the dryer. We'll see. I wanted to put it on first so that I could take pictures and help others make their decision, since my search for a quality, inexpensive bedspread took more than 3 weeks. I hope this was helpful. I can't imagine anyone being unhappy with this beautiful bedspread.

I’ve wanted a chenille bedspread like my great grandmother had on her guest room bed in the 1970s and 80s, and this item meets my expectations exactly. I purchased the shams as well. As you can see from the picture, it covers my king size, high bed perfectly. It had a chemical odor when I opened it, so I washed it immediately on the delicate cycle and dried on low heat. The lint filter was full every time I checked to see if it was done drying, but I haven’t experienced an issue with odor or lint since placing it on my bed. It is thin enough that I can sleep with my A/C set a degree higher than my previous bedspread. I could not be happier!

I really love this comforter - it feels so classy and comfortable and it makes me very happy to look at! The shedding I haven’t found to be a big deal, after washing a couple of times. The size is great, the king is huge which I love considering my husband always steals the covers :) value for money is good in my opinion, it is thin but that is how these blankets are - it’s nice and light for the summer, and is great with a quilt on top in the winter. Only one star removal due to the color - the burgundy is very much red and not the color I was hoping for, but everything else about it is so good I don’t mind. I found with a quilt on top and some decorative pillows it helps it to not look quite so much like a boudoir 😂

This bedspread is the perfect size for my bed, which has an extra deep mattress. Most fall short of covering the bed, but this one is plenty large enough to cover the bed and almost touch the floor, which is exactly what I wanted. I hesitated to order it because I had read negative reviews about the bedspread being thin enough to see blankets underneath, but that's not the case. I did go ahead and order the King Size pillow shams, but the bedspread is plenty long enough to cover pillows without the shams. It washed and dried beautifully. Very happy with this purchase. I chose the King Size Sage color and it's a soft pale green which was the color I was going for!

Old fashion charm, classic look! Yes the material is thin, however, this is exactly what I want. I layer sheets and blankets and bedspreads to get the warmth I need no matter the season. I have pets who get on the bed and sleep with me. I can easily take this bedspread off and wash and dry it in my home machines. I used to get the thick luxury comforters and quickly found to my dismay that I could not fit them into my washing machine. I would have to take them to the laundromat which was a huge inconvenience . Especially since I like to wash it at least once a month or oftener due to the pets. As I was putting this bedspread on my bed this morning it brought back memories of my childhood and my grandma and her chenille bedspread. I love it and would buy again. I chose white which looks so clean and crisp but it also comes in many other colors.

Loose fabric clutter all over the spread, when i took the spread out if the shrink wrapped bag pieces of fabric clutter went all over the place, it seemed as if the floor was swept and the clutter was thrown on the spread before wrapping it, other then that the spread is beautiful, I hope it lasts past the first wash.

I love Chenille! Needed a new one. Doesn't really reach the floor, my bed must be higher than average. But you know that's ok, this old lady don't need to be getting her feet tangled up in it! I really liked the blue, better than I thought I was going to. I like the weight, I don't use a blanket anymore. I use my bedspread instead of folding it at the foot of the bed. So if you are like me and hate comforters, this bedspread is the way to go. Inexpensive for a chenille. I think it is well made. The fits ok. I seen no lint. To me softness comes after a wash. We'll see.

Easy to wash as it’s cotton looks good and not too heavy a proper size as well 🥰

Suelta muchísima pelusa, es muy delgada y no abriga nada y demasiado grande, es difícil que el rosetón esté centrado, la he devuelto.
