I ordered these shelves without checking the sizes in the description and as often is the case with Amazon descriptions the photos make them look a lot bigger than they actually are! So check the sizes before you buy to make sure they meet your needs. As it happens I have the perfect job for them despite my lack of research.Quality is at best fair. The metal brackets are painted black and are well made and strong enough. They are pre-drilled for the supplied mounting screws. There are also wall plugs supplied with the screws.The shelves are not solid wood, no surprise there, I never expected them to be. But what I do expect is that the laminate surfaces are fitted properly. The edging strip goes around all four sides, but where it starts and finishes it overlaps by about 25mm! This doesn’t look good and is likely to be weak spot where the edging can start to lift or get caught.

These are very small thin shelves made from a lightweight wood and wrapped in coating. The edges are also wrapped but they have overlapped the join which is strange. I'd put this to the back of the shelf when fittingThe brackets are heavy duty and some have some of the black coating missing but I would use these under the shelf anyway so it won't be that noticeable.Budget display shelves.

These shelves are ideal for small ornaments, etc. and come with all you need.The brackets are nicely finished and quite tough. You get fixings for wood or masonry and they can be mounted above or below the shelf. The holes aren't countersunk, but the screws are pan head so can be used either side.The shelf is quite thin but so well coated and light they almost feel like plastic. They are wood though, and more than strong enough to hold a fair bit of weight.Good value for a nice kit of matching shelves.

Really pleased with these as they match other furniture in my office with the same dark wood and black metal and look great. Really nice depth and tone of colour on the wod and very easy to set up and nice and sturdy. They are a good size for the price for set of four and would recommend as very happy with them.
