Coffee replacement

Inevitable Replacement
Suitable replacement for the original mug carafe that we broke. (The original had a shier chrome plastic handle). This one has a math gray finish, but it looks just fine. We much prefer steel thermal carafes, but smug does not make that model.

Burnt hands
Do not buy! I bought this back in February and since then the lid has popped off three times while pouring coffee, burning my hand!!! The lid doesn't fit right at all. Of course I can't return it as the return window has closed. Buy original equipment instead of trying to save money like I did

Nice pot.
This is a nice, basic pot. I use it to heat paraffin wax for making candles, so I can't speak to its compatibility with any particular coffee maker. For my use it works great. It was well packaged for shipment and arrived in perfect condition.
