Great intermediate electronics kit
This is a fun and easy build, some of the parts were faulty, but, that goes with any electronics kit. I did have to replace all 4 LEDs due to accidentally having my soldering iron to hot. The only problem is this thing is a power hog. (I have used up at least four 9V batteries running this thing)

Nice project highly recommended
A beautiful well put together kit. Easy assembly great soldering practice. All parts were there and instructions were adiquite.

NEED TO KNOW BEFORE BUYING/Intro into Soldering
I am fairly new to soldering and this was my first kit. This kit does not come with instructions on how to solder nor are the assembly instructions particularly easy to read. I was fortunate to have someone with me who was experienced with soldering, as well as a YouTube video I found after putting the serial number of the circuit in the YouTube search bar. Once you see the circuit in the video, and get an understanding of basic circuitry, this kit was a fun little introduction to soldering and, even with my minimal skills, was not to difficult to complete. I would recommend this as a beginner, it’s a fun and somewhat easy build, but YouTube tutorials are a must if you’re new.

Nice components, I used it for the included parts
I purchased this kit for the 4021BH 7 segment dual digit displays to replace burned out displays on a fridge. These are nearly impossible to find with the correct pinout unless you buy 100 from Alibaba... The kit came with 4021BS displays, which are the "super" red versions (brighter than the 'BH). The pinout matched, and they look great in their new home. I also have a bunch of other spare components left over as well for future projects, which is a bargain for the price, considering 2 of the display modules would have been ten bucks by themselves, minimum.

This has been a fun project for my grandson and I.

Fun little project
Nice solder practice project. Some that actually has a function once finished. One drawback is that it eats batteries. May want consider powering this clock with a plug in power source.

Not for beginners
Requires soldering cables to an external power supply, power USB not included. Doesn't come with any directions aside from the PCB board's directions printed on top of it. I built it which took me a couple hours, and since I have no external power supply the cable set-up I've created doesn't work too well. I can tell there's power because the beeper is going off but there's no action on the displays. Bad purchase!!

Good for a first starter
Has great ability to start out soldering and figuring out if you like electronics

Great kit and good practice for through hole soldering. Instructions are clear and easy to follow. Final assembled clock isn't very user friendly, but works well and validates the soldering.

Great fun! Worked first try with no issues. If had any quibble at all, it would be that I’d prefer the timer to count to 12 hours rather than 24 but that sounds nitt-picky. I added a rechargeable battery (+ charge circuit) to allow for use without being permanently connected to power. Without this, the unit obviously needs setting whenever power interrupted (which is a bit of a process). The battery I used was from a discarded inhalation device found on sidewalk. The charging circuit was sourced right here from Amazon (there’s loads to choose from). Also added a rather elegant (gasp!!!) mild steel frame for the rustic garage look (weighs in at 1kg!!). A great alternative to watching Netflix or YouTube. Go for it!

This was a lot of fun to put together. Instructions are not really specific and are translated. I suggest watching a youtube on soldering and polarities of the components of you aren't familiar. Good practice if you are rusty. Took me 2 hrs about. Pick up a 9V battery connector as well.

Soldered this Digital LED clock together with no problems. Instructions were good for assembly. The PCB was of good quality along with the components. After assembling tried a 9 volt battery on the clock. The clock lit up with no problems, but the battery only lasted about 18 hours, Suggest using a USB power source or something with more capacity (amp hours) than a 9 volt battery.

Some people complaining about lack of instruction and what not but literally every part is listed in the part list and the pcb tells you exactly what to put and where. I used it to practice my soldering skills and had a good time doing it. I'd recommend for anyone like me who is getting into hobby electronics but doesn't want to potentially damage anything expensive.
