I installed this for a friends room and turned out perfect. I was going to go with top and bottom install with just cables coming in and out but I ended up just using one box for the bottom and than a power box at the top. This allows me to now have a second box for another client to install. Just need to get another AV/box. Either way having a top and bottom set for the cost is perfect. Makes everything look clean!

These worked out perfectly for my needs. The quality is very good and installation simple. They include a cardstock template with sticky tape to trace for size. Then just cut out along lines with drywall saw. Fits perfectly inside. Then tighten screws for arms to snug up from back side. Put on face plate and looks perfect with the opening(s) you needed. Installed mine below network/media cabinet which has knockouts directly above to allow needed access for cables (which I need to clean up a bit).

I saved 150.00 bucks using these to hide my tv cords in the wall. I watched a YouTube video and then ordered these and I did it myself. The guy who hung my tv was going to charge 150 to do it and I did it for 10 bucks! It was a little confusing on how they worked at first but I figured it out and they worked perfectly. I would also get a drywall saw if you don’t have one I tried to do it with an X-Acto knife like the guy in the video but it was too hard for me and actually I used a bread knife haha but it did the trick.

Easy to install

i was happy this was not cheap brittle plastic like most wall plate openings, so it will take some of the rough handling needed to maneuver it into place. my install was 1" thick old plaster running nearly a dozen shielded CLG jacketed wires 3' up behind a flat TV, so this was not the time and place to skimp on wall channel plates. the angle of the bend takes a bit of maneuvering, but it's great at hiding the dark cavity in the wall. you can always hide some extra foam stuffed in any gaps if you are paranoid about insects and rodents, something you can't do with most flat to the wall plate designs.

Perfect and cheaper than Home Depot. I ordered these ahead of my installer arriving and they worked as designed. If you have lots of cords with big heads you may need to thread them through box then install box into wall hole. That’s what we did to make feeding them through easier (vs installing box first and then fishing them through).

I purchased these to hide the HDMI cords in the wall after buying a 75” Samsung QLED TV for our basement living room. These came with a drywall cut template with an adhesive strip on the back to use while cutting on the wall. Made the rectangular cutouts super easy with my oscillating multi tool. I have purchased a different brand from Home Depot years ago that did not have the template and was more difficult to tighten and sit flush with the drywall after assembly. Wish I had known about this brand at the time.

These were different than the first set I bought (different brand) but I got to say I like this better! It comes with a sticker for cutout so is easier to get exact drywall cuts. Also, it has a face plate that makes everything look neater. It doesn’t feel like cheap plastic. One of the cheapest in price but best in quality

I've bought a dozen sets of these. They're perfect for hiding wires in walls. Very simple, very straight forward, they come in pairs, so you always get exactly what you need. Been using these for years, 0 complaints and my wires look amazing.

Pros: does the job. Can pass lots of cables. Cons: Would be nice to have a template to install since it's a bit wider that the opening of an electric box. Had to cut around little by little to have the up and down brackets through the hole. Overall: Holds very well when the two screws holding the brackets are tight against plaster wall. Nice finish.
