Vornado693 Mid-Size Whole Room Air Circulator Fan with Adjustable Height,Black,Medium

The media could not be loaded.  I recently purchased the Vornado Circulating Fan and I have been extremely impressed with its performance. Several pros make this fan stand out from others in the market.Firstly, the fan can circulate a large amount of air in a room without blowing it in a concentrated direction. This is perfect for those who want to cool down a room without feeling a strong gust of air on them. Additionally, the fan is very energy efficient, using only 60W at maximum power and less than 5W at the lowest power. This is a huge plus for me as I always try to be mindful of my energy consumption.Another pro of this fan is its sleek and modern design. The white finish blends well with my home decor and it does not look out of place. I also appreciate how lightweight and easy it is to transport around the house, making it convenient to use in any room. The fan is also well-built and sturdy, ensuring that it will last for years to come.However, there are a few cons to note. The fan can be quite noisy at maximum speed. However, I have found that it quickly drops to a lower sound level when not on max speed. Additionally, while the fan is great for circulating air, it does not blow a concentrated gust in one direction like a blower fan. Lastly, the price of this fan may be a bit steep for some at $165 + tax. There are other Vornado fans with similar performance at a lower cost.In conclusion, I purchased this fan specifically for its great air circulation and energy efficiency. The noise level is not a concern for me as it only runs for an hour at a time. The stylish design and energy efficiency were my top priorities and this fan has exceeded my expectations. I have been a fan of Vornado for years and this fan has only solidified my trust in their brand. I would highly recommend this fan to others, especially if energy efficiency is a priority.

This review is for the Vornado 783DC full size floor fan. Like all Vornado fans, this one is powerful. No remote control and it doesn't oscillate but it tilts. The fan itself is 12". It has a variable speed dial and is reasonably quiet up to half speed. If you work from home, then 3/4 to full speed are too loud for Teams meetings. It's unusually short for a floor fan, 36" from the floor to the top of the fan housing and 22" from the floor to the bottom of the fan. I wouldn't consider the height "adjustable". It comes in 3 pieces and you can elect not to insert the center 12" tube. The metal tubing is held together by heavy duty bolts and is very sturdy and easy to assemble. It's pricey but I bought this model for the energy efficiency...we'll see how that works out when I get the June power bill. The 10 year warranty was also a big factor. I live in California's Central Valley and the fans stay on 24/7 from April/May through Oct/Nov...not exaggerating. Fingers crossed this model saves on the power bill. I have 3 Vornado fans ranging in age from 2 to 4 years old and they all work like new. As long as Vornado maintains their quality, then I won't even consider another brand.

We purchased this fan when our son was a baby. We lived in a small upstairs apartment that had no A/C. It worked beautifully up until our son turned 20 and it finally gave in. Lasted 20 years!!! No lie! That alone is worth the price! But add in there that is the most powerful fan you'll ever come across. Even if you point it at yourself, others around you DEFINITELY feel it. And it's not warm air like other cheap fans. This blows COOL air and circulates it around the room incredibly well. It's fairly quiet on the first two settings and a little louder on the highest but it's never bothered us. The added bonus is the sleek, modern design. We loved ours so much, we bought 2 more. One for our bedroom and one for our now 20something year old son. Don't waste your money on anything else.These are worth every penny!

783dc variable speed--Lowest setting, 1.2 watts (not moving much air. Really have to hone in to even hear it).At roughly quarter setting, 1.6 watts (slight breeze, enough to dry your eyes and push napkins off a table, only tested about 6 feet away. Feels nice when aimed proper. Hardly audible).At roughly half setting, 3.5 watts. (This is the sweet spot for me. Keeps me cool in a gaming room that gets toasty. Sound is soft and not bad at all)At roughly 3/4 setting, 16.2 watts.(speed really picks up here. Moving a good amount of air, I'm still able to clearly hear what's going on in the house. Average sized home.)At full speed ahead, 55.8watts. (gets loud here. But not unbearable, personal thought of course.) Obviously theres a serious climb in watts after 3/4 setting, this is when the air is seriously moving. I personally use it when gaming and only ever need it at mid settings. I have never needed it beyond half setting. The noise at half setting is not bad at all, unbelievably soft. When it's used on full blast to move lots of the air in the room, it's going to be noisy. It has a dc converter block in the power cord and people complain about it, i don't understand their complaints. Its working its magic to use less power and save you money in the long run.

EXCELLENT product to cool a room. Lots of air circulation Better than many other fans we have tried (tower and circular fans). Downside is it’s kinda loud - esp on the highest speeed - but worth it for the functionality. Design is nice too - not too big, and can be angled as you prefer.

This fan has been a wonderful addition to my bedroom as my A/C has not been a match for the summer in Toronto this year. At the lowest level, it produces plenty of movement for comfort, and the noise level is a nice hum that makes for a very pleasant sleep.

Quick and easy to put together. This moves a lot of air. I use it to move air from the first floor to the third floor of our town home, as it's always hot on the top floor and cold on the first. Our main staircase allows for a clear air-path from the 1st to 3rd floor and this fan on medium is moving a bunch of cool air from the 1st to the 3rd floor. It keeps all the floors of the house more evenly in regards to temperature. Only had it for a few days, but so far, I am impressed with the amount of air. The fan is a little loud on highest setting, but I don't foresee me ever using this setting, medium works great for me.
