WORKS RIGHT AWAY, is SIMPLE, STYLISH, and NO LINE NOISE - Works Switching Between Headphones and Speakers
This is a top notch switch that worked right out of the box and is simple to use and is of high quality. There was no line noise on this one.I originally bought another type and it had line noise: The one that DOESN'T WORK well with the line noise IS THIS ONE:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073GWCRP3/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Read my review there as it points back to this item. I figured I could save you $20 or having to return something.

Looks good...That's about it
I do have to say that it is an attractive product. Small and unobtrusive with a nice wood finish. Unfortunately, that is where the good review ends.I was trying to use this to allow for my set of headphones to be used by both of my laptops, depending on which one I was working on at the time. This did function as a switch, in that I was able to switch between listening to either laptop. However, the amount of interference and static coming through the line made it impossible to use for any length of time. This seems to be caused by an inadequacy of the shielding used with the switch itself. If I only had one of my laptops on, the interference and static were gone. So, I could make sure that I only had one of my laptops on at a time, which would not be possible when streaming, or disconnect the laptop I was not listening to from the switch, which would defeat the purpose of the switch. The kicker, which has resulted in this being a 1 star review, is when I saw the reply from 4Minds to other commenters with the same issue, I reached out to 4Minds explaining the issue I was having, attached my Amazon receipt and requested them send to a new switch to replace the defective one. It has been 11 days since I reached out to them and I have not received a reply.

Simple and stylish
This switch is very simple yet perfectly functional. It is a small block of wood (roughly 1 3/4" x 1 3/4" x 1") with a push button in the center to switch between the output jacks. Two 3.5mm output jacks on one side and one 3.55mm input jack on the other (I assume it could be used the other way around, also, as two inputs and one output, but I haven't tried that). I used it to switch between my headphones and external speakers on my laptop computer. The only drawback is there is no indicator of which of the two jacks is in use but that is a minor quibble as it is easily discover-able based on where the sound is coming out. Works perfectly.

Beautiful Product, Cheap Build
I Love the way it looks...it's simple and beautiful and blends well with my decor. But mine has some sort of problem...the sound is messed up. I have to jiggle the wire to get it to come out right, and if it moves slightly (using headphones, which is why I bought it in the first place) then the audio is jacked up again. At first I thought it was my speakers or the wire I was using. But I've now replaced the wire, and tested the speakers plugged directly into the computer and they are fine. It's only when using the button. And it's only one input of the button. The other seems to work OK. Unfortunately, now that I've ruled out other problems, it's past the return window.

you have to push the button "just right"
It looks good, placement of jacks is good, and it works well. But if you don't push the button "just right", it doesn't, and then you have to try again. You can feel how the push is going, so practice and forcefulness are helpful.I have no problem with sound quality. It does look good.

Great audio switch box, but it's not perfect...
I use this to switch audio between my desktop and aux cord to my phone to a small sound system.PROS:- Simple to use- Flat audio response (good thing)- Looks niceCONS:- Quiet intermittent noise when using the 1 INPUT, 2 OUTPUT method (noticeable in quiet scenarios)- Small chance you may have to nudge the cable to get a proper connection- Button gets stuck if you press it a certain wayCONS details:For one of my cables, when it's specifically plugged in on the side with the single I/O, I had to twist and pull it into a specific position for it to work. I feel that the inner electrical contact points could have a tighter grip on the cable so this wouldn't be an issue. The cable works fine on the other I/O's of the switch box and other devices, and I actually can't just change the cable since the other end is hardwired onto my sub-woofer.Hope this feedback is helpful!

Why Switch?
3.5 mm Audio Switch Box by 4minds :BRAVO 4minds! I heart this switch. Elegant in it's simplicity and knowing that it can send signal in either direction just makes me happy. That's just smart!I love the simple design. I love the wood. The only thing I don't love is that it's so light weight that it falls down off the side of my desk because it's pulled by the weight of the wires hanging from it. I will probably epoxy some plate steel to the bottom of it or something like that to try to keep the small footprint, but to add some weight to it for stability. Not enough to lose a star though. This is a great, simple little passive switch. Good job.

Works great!
Solved an annoying problem. The button is wobbly. Not sure if that's intentional but so far it does not effect function.I think the company logo is funny. Looks like they are missing part of their mind!
