Absolutely love this controller! The build quality is excellent and honestly exceeded my expectations, the materials feel premium, solid, and durable without being heavy. The Hall Effect joysticks are a total game-changer with zero drift even after long gaming sessions, and the free button mapping makes it super easy to customize. The extra joysticks and extra d-pads are a nice add that give you even more flexibility. It fits my iPhone perfectly, connects seamlessly over Bluetooth or Type-C and no lag at all, and the full-size layout stays comfortable during extended play. Highly recommend!

I didn't want to be bothered with a BT phone adapter controller because who needs another device to charge? Saw that I could not just power the S9 through my phone, but that pass-through charging was also on the table. Does it charge at my phone's full speed capability? No, but it doesn't drain it to zero during a game session either. Even when not plugged in. It sips power. The ergonomics are phenomenal and the colorway is neutral with a little purple flair that I happen to dig, personally. I appreciate that there are several D-Pad options for those who prefer something more traditional, or more like the X-Box elite controller styles. The flexibility to cater to a goldilocks experience is really the best reason to go for this thing. Buttons feel great, and remapping them is easy if you need to with the native app which pulls triple duty as a launcher, firmware updater and settings configurator. 5 stars, don't hesitate - this is it chief.

Mobile gaming is finally having its moment. Cloud gaming (Luna, GeForceNow, Steamlink, Moonlight/Sunshine), emulation finally on iOS and high profile game ports require a high quality controller. The Abxylute S9 is easily the best handheld controller in its class with its ergonomics and versatility. Face button layout and texture are similar to the Hori compact split pad pro. Thumbstick height, movement and feel are about the same as the Xbox one controller. The grip style and texture and reminiscent of the Xbox one also. The triggers pull exactly the same as the Dualsense 5. The plastics and rubber feel premium. Basically, the S9 utilizes the best ideas from all of these controllers. The USB-C connection works reliably on my iPhone 16 pro max, iPad Mini 7 and Samsung S10+ in all the games I threw at it. So what separates this controller from any others? The bluetooth option. Some games will not work with usb-c like Call of Duty Mobile on Android. The S9 does not have a built in battery and instead draws power from the connected device. The controller treats bluetooth and usb-c as two complete separate things - so you can power the controller with one device and play on a second. It’s a blast to watch a game guide on YouTube or queue up music while waiting in a lobby. It also means your controller never has a dead battery or needs to sit on a charger while you wait. Pair this with something like an 8bitdo adapter and the connection options are limitless. Abxylute knocked it out of the park. Two thumbs up, highly recommend!

I bought this for use with Steam Link and Honkai Star Rail. It works well for both (though HSR requires setting the game to controller mode each time). Switching between USBC/BT/etc modes is easy. Button mappings are what you would expect. Now, for build quality: - The left stick gets stuck when moving in the top right quarter of it's movement range. - The textured part on the back of the controller is sharp at first. - The springy part that holds the phone in place isn't very firm. You're going to want to be careful if you play in bed/laying down. None of those are deal breakers for me, but I would probably use a different device if I didn't need support for Star Rail.

I bought this controller for light gaming on my android tablet as well as for streaming. Turns out it works incredibly well for both. Before that, however, I have to talk about the build quality. This is not some cheaply made piece of plastic with buttons. This is made with quality hard plastic. There are no creaks or funny noises when you are using it. It feels like a real controller. The face buttons have a nice click to them but not too noisy. Same for the D-pad. The back buttons are perfectly positioned for my finger to reach. The thumbsticks have a good travel range and are not too resistant or too loose. The shoulders buttons are great, but triggers have a bit too much travel which is just a personal preference really. So 5 stars right off the bat for the controller build. Feels great in the hand. I've played some Asphalt Legends as well as some Steam game streaming with this controller and I don't miss much moving from my Xbox controller to this. Great product. Can't beat the value.

This USB C Phone controller exceeded my expectations! It works well with my Apple iPhone 17 Pro. My phone case didn’t fit well but i fixed it by removing the right side rubber grip where the USB port is — it fits well now! It offers different protocols for different game systems. It works well using PS Remotel Play for my PS5. All buttons work perfectly. I also like the magnetic face plates and swappable D-Pad buttons, which is included in the package. This feels good in the hands and so easy to use. I’d recommend this controller. Definitely 5 stars!!!

I am incredibly impressed with the Abxylute S9. It checks every box for a premium mobile/tablet controller. Comfort & Build: It feels great in the hands, it feels durable yet lightweight. The spring clamp is strong and secure. Controls: The joysticks are smooth and highly accurate, the tactile buttons are crisp, and the triggers offer smooth tracking with just the right amount of resistance. Customization: It includes extended joysticks and interchangeable D-pad faces right out of the box to fit your exact playstyle, magnetic faceplates can also be easily swapped. Software & On-Board Options: The sheer amount of tweakable settings is incredible. You can adjust vibration strength, remap keys, set turbo modes, change joystick modes, and easily switch input types (X-Input, PlayStation, Android, and Nintendo Switch) via USB-C or Bluetooth backup. These are just some of the options available. The Abxylute app also allows for OTA firmware updates to deliver bug fixes and new features. If you want a comfortable controller that lets you fine-tune your gaming experience, I highly recommend this one.

Wow, I really had NO FAITH in this purchase or in "phone" controllers whatsoever. I recently picked the extremely gaming capable S25 Ultra though and I just had to see what all the fuss is about. I'd seen videos of the thing running native games at 90fps maxed out like fortnite and diablo, etc., and also seen some videos on emulation for games like GTA. So, I figured I'd buy it and return it when it sucked. I was Soooooo Wrong!!! This thing feels like an Official Xbox Controller!! The sticks and buttons are Wonderful!! It fits Snuggly onto my S25 Ultra and it works like a freaking charm!! I've played fortnite natively and Diablo and both are fantastic experiences. I've also streamed games (another thing I'd given up on tbh..) from the app that comes with this device; it integrates all of your games (yes, all of your GAMEPASS Games Too:) and can launch them directly without any installation required! I've played Halo and Assassin's Creed so far on Really Poor Wi-Fi and they still LOOK & PLAY PHENOMENALLY WELL. Next, I'm going to try some emulation software, but long story short, this thing has COMPLETELY CHANGED MY VIEW ON HANDHELD GAMING FOR THE BETTER. I'm now a 100% believer in the possibilities of using your phone basically as a Switch, ROG Alley, Steam Deck, etc., REPLACEMENT. The S25 Ultra is BEAST!!! The anti-reflective, high resolution, high refresh rate, bright, vivid OLED display, Sound, Processing and Battery Life are INSANE. I'm in love with this thing and it's enabled me to have gaming sessions while on my breaks at work that are truly immersive and FUN as heck. If you're leaning towards buying a controller for your phone or tablet, this one will not disappoint. WELL DONE!!

Había probado adaptadores para jugar con Dual Sense, algún que otro mando de precio "ajustado"... Pero el salto experimentado con Abxylute S9 es INMENSO. Calidades dignas de los mandos Elite / Edge de consola, incluso con elementos mucho mejores y más cuidados: sticks hall effect (sin riesgo de drifting), L2 y R2 hall effect, sticks y control pad intercambiables, botones traseros configurables, vibración, paneles frontales (por estética) intercambiables, multiples modos de funcionamiento y una app completísima que permite crear accesos directos a todos los juegos y aplicaciones que quieras, así como configurar hasta el último elemento del S9 (zona muerta, sensibilidad, mapeo de botones)... Y si en algún momento quieres jugar con tus amigos en una consola o PC, el mando también funciona como control pad individual, sin tablet o móvil, tanto a través de USB-C como de Bluetooth (eso sí, alimentado por USB-C, ya que no incluye batería). El ajuste con cualquier dispositivo USB-C es comodísimo (aunque el dispositivo tenga una cámara prominente) y muy sólido (he probado otros mandos similares más "plastiqueros" y que dan una sensación de que se te va a escapar el móvil volando). Solo le pongo un "pero" de preferencia muy personal: los sensores del control pad no son de goma conductiva (como los botones frontales), son "clicky", como los de los mandos de Xbox Series; me quedo con la goma "clásica", aunque a nivel de funcionalidad no cambie demasiado. Si quieres aprovechar al máximo tu teléfono o tablet con los juegos más existentes, no se me ocurra una mejor manera que a través que el Abxylute S9, sobre todo teniendo en cuenta su precio, inferior al de los mandos similares más laureados (y en algunos casos, peores) del mercado.

Nach nunmehr 3 Wochen der Nutzung, kann ich bisher nur Positives berichten. Bevor ich dazu komme, möchte ich vorab anmerken, dass es natürlich auch Apps ohne Controllersupport gibt, dafür kann aber dieser Controller nichts, der trotzdem hier und da im Internet genau deswegen kritisiert wird. Ich habe das Gerät gekauft, weil ich eines suchte, welches trotz USB-C-Anschluss mit einer gescheiten Hülle betrieben werden kann. Weitere für mich wichtige Aspekte bestanden in Verarbeitung, Passthrough-Ladefähigkeit und eine nicht zu geringen Größe. Der erste Punkt wird knapp erfüllt. Ich benutze ein IPhone 17 in einer UAG Monarch Pro Hülle und der USB-Anschluss wird nach einem kurzen Zusammendrücken zum Komprimieren des Gummis gerade so verbunden. Alternativ könnte ich auf der einen Seite an den Ecken das Gummi am Gerät entfernen und es würde auch ohne die Kompression sehr einfach gehen. Bin sehr zufrieden dass es geklappt hat, den die Alternative wäre fast 4 Mal so teuer gewesen wie das Sonderangebot bei dem ich dieses Gerät erhielt. Gut, die teurere Alternstive hätte einen integrierten Akku und könnte als Standalone-Bluetoothcontroller arbeiten, aber das brauchte ich nicht. Zudem bin ich in der Praxis froh das Gewicht eines Extraakkus nicht im Controller zu haben. Passthrough-Laden funktioniert problemlos. Die Größe des Controllers ist gerade noch groß genug um bei Handschuhgröße 8-10 keine Probleme bei längerer Nutzung zu verursachen. Etwas größer wäre auch ok gewesen. Ich habe bisher hauptsächlich diverse Gameboy-Emulationen (AdBoy, RetroArch) und dazu Diablo Immortal, Vampire Survivors, Where Winds Meet (dieses spiele ich allerdings bevorzugt auf dem Festrechner ohne Controller) gespielt und diverse andere Apps auf Funktionalität getestet. Da wo Controller unterstützt werden funktionierte alles tadellos. Der Abxylute s9 ist wertig genug verarbeitet und fühlt sich insgesamt nicht schlechter an als mein treuer Xbox 360 Controller an, der seit vielen Jahren treu seinen Dienst auch am PC verrichtet. Ich glaube bei einigermaßen pfleglichen Umgang wird der Abxylute hier ähnlich lange halten. Ein wenig nutzlos empfinde ich die erhöhten Sticks zum auswechseln, sobald der rechts befestigt wird, kommt man immer unfreiwillig dran wenn man ABXY-Tasten betätigen will. Evtl. wäre der für echte Pranken hilfreich, dann wären allerdings die Griffe wahrscheinlich wiederum zu klein, kA. Die D-Pad-Aufsätze sind ok, ich hab sie mal kurz getestet, bevorzuge aber letztendlich bei einem Gerät das ohnehin 2 Sticks mitbringt dann doch das klassische Kreuz bei dem man eindeutiger eine Richtung betätigen kann. Lag oder irgendwelche Aussetzer gibt es nicht, wäre allerdings bei der Verwendung von USB-C ungewöhnlich. Die Sticks zeigen sich bisher präzise, kein Drift, keine wahrnehmbaren toten Zonen, etc. Die Tasten klicken (finde ich gut), also nichts was man neben einer schlafenden Person nutzen kann. Die 2 Buttons auf der Rückseite haben gerade genug Widerstand um nicht versehentlich beim Halten betätigt zu werden, jedoch ohne schwergängig zu sein. Im Gerät eingespannt hält das Handy ausreichend gut und auch leichtes Schütteln hat keine Probleme bereitet. Heftiges Schleudern etc. habe ich mal nicht ausprobiert, da ich es nicht auf einen Unfall mit einem kaputten Smartphone ankommen lassen will. Es sollten recht problemlos alle Geräte bis 20cm Breite (ich glaube Maximum ca.22cm) reinpassen, also z.B. auch ein Lenovo Legion Tab oder iPad Mini, aber kein großes Tablet. Letzteres empfinde ich aber nicht als Problem, da ab einer gewissen Größe des Gerätes die Nutzung als Handheld ohnehin nur noch unpraktisch ist. Insgesamt bin ich voll zufrieden und werde es auch bleiben wenn das Gerät mindestens 5+ Jahre ohne Probleme durchhalten sollte. Bisher volle Empfehlung von meiner Seite, besonders falls man es wie ich zum guten Angebotspreis ergattern kann. Jetzt hoffe ich noch darauf, dass die passende Tasche bei Amazon verfügbar wird. EDIT: Jetzt auch mit einem Lenovo Legion Tab Gen 3 getestet. Fazit bleibt nach wie vor genauso positiv. Das Legion Tab passt gerade so noch rein, besser mit einer Hülle als ohne. Habe allerdings auch festgestellt, dass bei mir der 3,5mm Klinkenanschluss für Kopfhörer weder am IPhone 17 noch dem Legion Tab funktioniert. Für mich kein relevanter Dealbreaker, aber trotzdem ein winziger Minuspunkt.

The Abxylute S9 has a great mix of comfort, responsiveness, and functionality, making it a great choice for my needs. I primarily use this to connect to my 8 inch tablet. It's ergonomic design fits well in the hands and feels nice during long play sessions. The S9 has very precise controls. All buttons feel good. The dpad is swappable for your needs depending on what games you play. There are two rear buttons on the back which are mappable. The Abxylute app is also a great launcher for your games and a nice place to customise your controls and/or tweak settings to fit your needs. Overall I am extremely pleased with what Abxylute have made with the S9 and would highly recommend this controller. The price is also fair and competitive when compared to other brands that offer similar products.
