Ateco 231 Large Bismark Tube

It is a great decorating tip. I am using it for filling my eclairs. I had trouble the first time I used it as my chocolate filling had thicken so much I could not pipe it through the tip into the eclairs. I had to heat it again so it would become runny again... A sharp ege, so watch out that you do not puncture your cake on the other side, and start decorating your counters instead.

The tip did the job of filling my eclairs which had a lot of air space inside to be filled. The tip could have a bigger diameter to inject more pastry cream at one time. I thought it took longer than necessary to fill each one.

It looks professional but its cheaply made and the narrow tip fell apart after using it 3 times. The Nordic Ware Cupcake Frosting Decorator Press works much better.

I tend to misplace small things. I got these to have another set. They are very nice. I hope I don't lose them, they haven't made my tip box yet.

Nice for making a small hole in your cupcakes or donuts however the filling should be pretty thin or jellied. If you are filling with frosting it is very hard to squeeze it through the small opening.

This product was what I expected. I would recommend it at this price to anyone. it is exactly as advertised.
