Thanks for your question, a sharing confusion we believe. The solar panel comes with rubber plugs. You need to stick the rubber plug on and then the charger plug. In this way, your solar panel and security camera would be water-proof. Check out the user manual on our product page please.

Hi, Coloradokid. There are 2 things you need to do: 1. Slide a waterproof gasket onto the USB connector of the solar panel; 2. Open the rubber cover of your camera's charging port and firmly plug in the USB connector. Thank you!
