Works perfectly. Just had to reset the receiver and then it worked immediately.

My wife lost the original remote somehow and this was a direct replacement. I put batteries in and it performed all the functions we needed for our home theater. This was a lifesaver, I love our Onkyo receiver and a missing remote was a hassle to say the least - yup. I'm lazy, lol.

Would have given it 5 stars but slightly different from original remote. Need instructions on how to program the remote for television. Everything else worked great.

I purchased this as a replacement remote control for my Onkyo receiver. It lacks one input transfer my receiver has, game. Other than that omission, it has proven adequate. It seems light and not strongly made, but I haven't had any problems yet. I use my receiver to move the sound to my outboard speaker system and send the signal for my cable, my ultra blu-ray player, and my old dvd player to my televison, so outside control for my receiver is key. Previous universal cheap remotes from GE have not worked at all changing inputs on my receiver.

The main button to set up codes on the original remote is missing on this one. There is no way to add non-onkyo devices so no idea why this has buttons to select other devices.

Just like the original remote.

Was a remote from a different receiver. Made it work but the buttons are different.
