Works well. The outside unit was easy put in SIM card and off you go. If you have a router which is all ready set up. I do my old one. Setting up new router I have given up on it. It’s back in the box for a day when I may need it. But my speed has increased a lot which I’m pleased with. Over all it’s a good unit apart from no instructions to set up router.

Once set up product is great. But…. The QR codes supplied on the devices do not work when using the app, so you have to set up and update firm ware manually via the IP address provided on each device. It’s a faf! Why the haven’t changed the app to suit the QR codes is ridiculous. If you you’re not tech savvy, then go elsewhere. But, if you are this is a great device once set up. I’m using an EE sim and getting 120mbs in a rural area. Very fast for a 5g sim. Update 11th June. I have had to reduce this product to 2 stars. The reason is the WIFI router keeps disconnecting and saying it can’t connect to the external modem. However there is nothing wrong with the modem as when I connect it direct to PC with Ethernet cable the internet connection is very stable. So the WIFI box is faulty. Difficulty getting anyone to get back to me. I ended up buying another router. Very disappointed

I will address the only issue so far. It needs a firmware update immediately, but you can’t do it from the app! The app is the chink in the setup process. The device password will be rejected and setup will not continue. Set it up via the web page. 192.168.0.1 and update through here. It’s pretty self explanatory but for those expecting plug and play - or less tech savvy, you will need assistance. As for installation - it can be mounted to a wall or a pole. I mounted mine to a pole 1 1/4” wide and the supplied jubilee clips are too big to use. They are huge. As for execution as a 5g router - we have gone from an indoor 4g at 5Mbs to 5g at 135Mbs during peak times. Emits a lovely blue glow from the indicator lights. You will need 2 sockets free to power the outdoor antenna and the WiFi box. A good product but setup will frustrate those expecting plug and play operation. *UPDATE* after 6 months I was getting intermittent drop outs, eventually 5G wouldn’t work and went to 4G. DLink customer service was non existent. Death loop of chat bots and pretending people. Eventually after 8 months it died. I returned to Amazon and got my full money back. Poor product - guys - unless you are desperate or it’s really cheap…. Don’t buy it.
