It just works
Is as expected from Gilbert, the ball inflated easily and quickly and is high quality. Great for training and just passing the ball around.A word of caution, DO NOT throw this at walls to pass to yourself as it WILL leave black marks that are a pain to remove. I learnt this the hard way, so just letting others know.

Great ball - just don't panic if you hear air escape when inflating!
This is a perfect training ball for kids to start playing Rugby with - it is really grippy and has a good build quality. It arrives deflated, so you will need a ball pump to inflate (no pump included). Also when pumping, do not panic when you hear air escaping - the ball has an inner bladder, and the air escaping is from the surrounding skin. Once inflated it stays that way. Great!

Perfectly good little ball.
I had none of the problems with inflation, or it going flat that other reviews mention. Also no issues with the quality of the stitching.Kids very happy.

Great practice ball
It was a little tricky blowing it up initially because I was worried about damaging the bladder/valve as the cover was folded into itself for posting. Once inflated it was fine and it even encouraged my grandson to play; I might get a junior ball for him now!It doesn't hold it's normal pressure for as long as I'd expected but, I'll just have to pump it up more often!

Very popular
Bought for our grandson who took up rugby last year. He's delighted with the ball and, I'm told, it's the right size for him (he's 6). Apparently it has replaced certain soft toys at bedtime!

Gone soft
Went to wrap it for Christmas but it had gone soft with a slow leak, so the quality of these balls looks questionable to me. Had to order a replacement separately to make sure it gets here on time - very inconvenient. If the next one stays up I'll give a review.

Seconds?? It’s a rugby ball so who cares if the colour is off
As long as you are not precious about it looking good then this is a perfectly decent Rugby ballOurs has some marks on it and the colour had faded in places, but the kids didn’t care

Imbalance ball - awful flight
I've bought a few Gilbert G-TR4000 and not had any issues until now. This ball was inflated to the correct pressure but was horribly imbalanced on one side. It wobbled in flight when passed or kicked and wasn't fit for play or training.I ended up buying an alternative and the difference in quality was immediately apparent. Hopefully, I was just unlucky and this isn't indicative of a dip in Gilbert quality control.
