We used these water beads in a large bowl with the tiny babies and had the guys at the baby shower take the babies out. It made for lots of fun and laughter at the baby shower. Would definitely buy again if planning another baby shower for someone.

The amount of beads that come in this set is insane! I've used these on about 4 occasions already and I still have more. The thing is they really expand in water. Like really expand. I was completely amazed. They make a beautiful display when added to a vase with vase fillers. They make my decorative pearls appear to be floating.

This was my first time using gel beads but I have always wanted them. I don’t know what large ones should look like so I cannot speak to the size. These little decorative gel beads looked so elegant in the vase and added just the sparkle we had hoped for. I was happy with the size. The teens were fascinated and asked me so many questions about them. They didn’t take long to expand. They were ready the next morning and I would look for these gel beads again.

These beads come dry and look beige-ish.As instructed, I weighed 1 gram of beads with 60 grams/cc/ml of water as in my pictures.By the way, the amount of water on the the instructions on the package is incorrect.50-80 grams of water is NOT a cup (236.6 grams/cc/ml) in the US!!!After 4 hours, the beads absorbed and expanded to beautiful clear beads.They are very slippery.Careful when you transfer them into different vessels.They sometimes escape, scattering and bouncing away.The beads are also soft enough that you can split them by a finger nail.They look very nice when used in a transparent vase.Note that, they don't work like glass beads as they are light and slippery.What happens if you leave them for a long time?Do they dry up and shrink to their original size?How do you dispose them?There are no instructions for that.They warn it's not for children under 3.Be reminded that there is no safety/toxicity labeling.Thank you for letting me review this product.-----Update (4/19/24):Being curious, I left the water gel beads in the same bowl.And about 2 weeks later, they dried up and shrank back to their original size!So, this may answer my initial question: How do you dispose of these beads?Answer:You can dry them up and throw them away.Alternatively, you may also throw them away even they are swollen with water.-----Update (5/24/24):I've been repeating the dry-wet-dry-wet... cycle.These beads can iterate this cycle seemingly endlessly.I haven't seen any material degradation in the process.At the end, I threw away the dry beads.

I got these to use in some vases for wedding table center pieces and these came out beautifully! They worked very well and only took overnight soaking in water to get to full size. They work so well for so many uses. It was quite time consuming and difficult to break them all down with vinegar but otherwise these were definitely worth it!

The clear water beads become virtually invisible when fully submerged in water.Great for small to medium flower arrangements, it keeps the flowers in place without any unsightly ribbons, etc.This pack should last a very long time, it’s amazing how little it takes to fill up a whole vase.

Used in planting vegetables, and flowers. Helped keeping them in adequate water.

I love these water beads. I needed something nice to fill my vases and these beads definitely fit the bill. They are so easy and simple to use. I have never used these before so I followed the simple instructions and they worked just as they were supposed to. I misjudged the amount of beads to use but I learned my lesson after having to throw some of them away because I had nowhere to use the 'extra'. These tiny little beads really grow and they can fill a vase quite nicely. I have some beautiful faux roses that I placed in the vase with the beads and I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. I think I will get more in a different color.
