Hocase Heavy Duty Case for iPhone 8 Plus/7 Plus, Royal Purple Flowers

I’m literally purchasing more after I finish this review. So, I did a ton of searching, finally came across this case, read the reviews and assumed that I’d love it as I tend to love the larger heavy duty cases on big phones especially if they’re cute. I do tend to be a bit picky though especially when ordering online as you can never be too sure. However, this exceeded my expectations immensely! 🤩 Before I begin it comes with a FREE pop socket that matches perfectly 🥹 SO cute! 1st of all, it looks exactly like the picture. Even better in person! The ease of installation is beyond perfect and the fit on my iPhone 17 Pro Max is chef’s kiss 👌🏼🤌🏼 You just take the pieces apart, insert your phone and snap!🫰🏼✨ I also have a privacy screen protector on and it fits beautifully flush with no issues💖 There’s no loose areas, cracks, or creaking of any sort. Next thing, the feel, in my opinion is just lovely. It doesn’t feel cheaply made or like it’s going to fall apart. It’s smooth, durable, and definitely feels premium! The lip on the back around the camera is raised up perfectly to protect it when being set down which is something I’ve been concerned about due to the new design. The buttons aren’t being pressed down causing ringer and volume issues and the charging port is perfectly cut out as well as the camera control! ✨ I haven’t dropped it, but it feels as though it’ll be pretty scratch resistant. I’ll def update if I do drop it! So, if you ask me def buy it! The value for your money at this price is fantastic! And you get a matchinggg pop socket for free on top of quality protection that catches your eye!💯✨🤌🏼

I have been buying these cases for a while now. I bought the light purple flowery case for my iphone 14 most recently and I'll continue to buy these for each of my future phones. I drop things all the time and my phones for the past few years have withstood every single hard concrete/wood/pavement/ground drop- even surviving being flung across the room (on accident). I love the bumpers on the sides and the raised bit at the front which really prevent me from doing too much damage to my phone. I love how pretty they are and they might pop apart when dropped after a while of using them (it took a year or so before this began happening with my last case), my phones have never suffered the consequences. Love stimming with the feel of the rubber and plastic so much that I always wear down the paint! My most recent purchase came with a free matching pop socket and a lovely note too! Def recommend these for fellow clumsy people <3

I love it! Looks even better in person, beautiful rich colors, glossy, comes with nice matching Pop Socket. Very sturdy, you never know when you buy online if it’ll be flimsy or not. This is not flimsy, worth the money, good thickness, and grip. I already dropped my phone and it was no big deal. Would buy again and would recommend.😊

It’s a beautiful case….but now literally days after the 30 day return window, the case has been coming apart/not staying snapped together. Also, the slick finish causes me to not grip the phone that well causing me to drop it. This is a brand new phone and I can’t even count the amount of times I’ve dropped it vs my previous phone that had a case that was textured. If you look at the top of one of my pictures, you can see the texture on my old case. The entire back was textured whereas this case is smooth and slick. I barely dropped that thing maybe 10 times in 2 1/2 years. I didn’t use the included screen protector, I bought a separate privacy screen. It also came with a matching pop socket which is pretty cool, but I prefer to use straps. Overall, case fits nicely but comes undone leaving phone vulnerable to potential damage, pretty design but needs texture imo.

Very cute and sturdy case. I am so glad I found this case to fit my phone. I’ve loved this style on other phones and will purchase another. Came with a matching pop socket, but due to the magnetic charging hole in the case, doesn’t really fit where I think it would be comfortable to me. Had a small piece of plastic that I’m not sure broke off or if it was just an extra piece that fell in from manufacturing.

The good part is that I like the pattern that came on the case. For the first few months, the case also seemed fairly well put together; getting the phone in the case revealed that the fit was quite tight. The silicone inner case also does a good job of absorbing impacts. For the bad part: The hard outer case is held in place by clamping pressure and tabs that insert in the rubbery silicone inner case. Tiny tabs penetrate from the outer case into matching holes the inner case, and these are parallel to the sides of the phone. The tabs retain the silicone inner case next to the phone body, but because the plastic of the outer case is so brittle and because of the orientation of the tabs, they snap off easily leaving the top and bottom of the inner case floating somewhat free where the outer case itself is open. Once the tabs that hold it together start to break off, the case comes apart quite easily. It flew apart the other day when I dropped my phone while shopping. The inner case still did a good job of absorbing the impact, but it was a matter of luck that part of the hard shell didn't fly under a shelf in an unretrievable location. In addition, where there are edges on the outer case, the paint wears off quite easily. It wasn't long before it started to wear through on the edges. There's no clearcoat protecting the pattern, so it's only a matter of time before the white outer case plastic starts to show through the paint. Finally, the ringer mute button hole is wrong for an iPhone 15 Pro; rather than molding a pass through button in the silicone as was done for the volume buttons below it, there's simply a gapping hole that goes all the way through the case to the body of the phone. You need something long and thin to actually push the button; I definitely can't get my finger in there to push it. Anyway, I've replaced the case with another product. The outer case for this one seems likely to degrade into microplastics fairly quickly, and I don't particularly care to deliberately contribute to that trend. I would be less upset if the plastic was biodegradable, but if it is, it's not a published feature of this case.

Es difícil alcanzar el interruptor de vibración del teléfono. Tengo un iPhone 7 plus en el que uso este estuche. Muchas veces he levantado el teléfono para usarlo y este plástico simplemente sale del frente. Lo he vuelto a armar muchas veces y siempre encaja en su lugar. No sé si me acaba de llegar uno malo que no está hecho correctamente o si en realidad esto es lo que pasa con estos casos. Sin embargo, me encanta el color y el diseño, sólo desearía no tener que volver a armar el estuche con tanta frecuencia cuando levanto mi teléfono.

The boho design painted in the back started peeling and flaking off almost right away revealing the white plastic underneath. It was almost fully peeled off within a couple of months.
