A Tiny Overlord of My Workspace
The Keychron B1 Pro is not just a keyboard; it's a lifestyle revolution disguised as a peripheral. Before it arrived, my desk was a digital disaster zone. Wires snaked across the surface like angry pythons, and my old keyboard, a clunky relic from the Stone Age, occupied more real estate than a suburban McMansion. It was a chaotic landscape of crumpled sticky notes, rogue coffee mugs, and the ever-present threat of accidental key presses. Then, the B1 Pro entered my life, and with a click and a satisfying thock, it became the tiny, sleek overlord of my workspace. It’s like a minimalist ninja that glides effortlessly across the battlefield of my desk, ready to strike at a moment’s notice. The first thing you notice is its remarkable ability to disappear. Not literally, of course, but it’s so svelte and compact that my desk, once a cluttered horror show, now looks like a page from a home decor magazine. I can easily shove it to the side to make room for my afternoon iced coffee or to engage in some spirited paper-folding. If you told me a keyboard could be a tool for achieving zen, I would have laughed in your face. Now, my desk is a beacon of calm and order, a direct result of this beautifully engineered piece of plastic and metal. It’s the Marie Kondo of keyboards, sparking joy by simply not being a giant, cumbersome eyesore. But its greatest trick is its chameleon-like ability to jump between devices. One minute, I'm hammering out a witty email on my laptop, the next I've flipped a switch and am drafting a profound, 280-character masterpiece on my phone, all from the comfort of the same keyboard. It’s a seamless transition that makes me feel like a tech-savvy magician. My phone has never felt so powerful, and my tablet has never felt so… keyboarded. It's a connectivity superpower I never knew I needed. It's so efficient, I'm convinced the B1 Pro is secretly running a side hustle, managing its own social media accounts and trading stocks while I'm sleeping.Beyond its physical prowess and connectivity wizardry, the typing experience is a pure delight. The keys have a satisfying, responsive feel, and the sound is music to my ears—a muted, yet confident, thock that whispers, "You are getting things done, my friend." It’s an auditory reassurance that your productivity is soaring. The low profile is comfortable, and the tactile feedback makes every keystroke feel purposeful, like you're not just typing, but composing a symphony of words. I’ve found myself typing things just for the sheer joy of it, like a cat batting at a string, all thanks to the sheer satisfaction of the keystrokes. After only four days, I can confidently say the Keychron B1 Pro is an absolute game-changer. It's transformed my desk from a chaotic wasteland into a productive paradise and elevated my typing experience from a chore to a pleasure. It's the kind of keyboard that makes you wonder how you ever survived without it. If you're looking to declutter your life and add a dash of effortless cool to your tech arsenal, look no further. This keyboard isn’t just good; it’s the quiet, understated star of the show, and my desk has never been happier.

Great value and quality for $35 keyboard
Surprisingly for a mesh keyboard, it actually sounds okay and has a little bit of feedback that does feel nice. However the keys are a but too polished and are kind of slippery if that makes sense. It takes some getting used to but I think this keyboard is actually a great value. You can customize it, great size, and looks decent. I also tried out the lofree lite but that keyboard was way too hard to type on- keys too close together so i will be retuning even though it sounds better but also is 3x the price. This B1 pro does not have that issue and is easier to type on. I wish they offered a way to store the usb dongle on the keyboard.

Perfect size and price, quiet and has the feel of a laptop
I immediately love this keyboard. I'm typing this review on it. It's so very hard to find a smaller sized keyboard that has the feel of a laptop, takes up less room than a regular sized board and has this many connection options (BT, 2.5 and wired - adapters included in the packaging) and works out of the box. It's incredibly comfortable to type on, although I would have loved to have some sort of back risers because it's flat.I've tried a lot of 75% type keyboards, and most are mechanical, and just not quiet enough for me, no matter what switches I've tried. The build quality feels amazing - I've gotten some BT keyboards before that feel like they would just snap if you tried - this one has some weight to it - it's the kind of thing I would use as an everyday keyboard - and my plan is something easy to take up and down the stairs depending on where I am working on any given day. (I have a laptop on a stand so it's nice to be able to connect a keyboard for it.) This is perfect for that. Some plus: The keyboard did include a card for hotkeys that worked right out of the box (I'm a Linux user). I type a lot and so things like an END key sometimes is very important. This covered that right away, and without me even referring to the 'cheat sheet' I or needing to install any software it was super easy to figure it out.I don't feel like I need giant buttons when I'm gaming, so this works quite well even with that as well.Cons? I'm a touch typist, so this works well for me, but one thing that is a little off for me is that I could use a little higher raised F and J to align my fingers, because often I am sitting in a dark room and I rely on being able to feel those keys. Also, the keys look like the print is just some sort of glued on lettering that I don't think I can capture in a photo to show what I am talking about. This shouldn't be an issue with a touch typist, but for the price I wouldn't really complain it something wore off.The only other thing I'd love to see in this keyboard is a back-light. Nothing fancy, I don't need the crazy RGB distraction, just something that could be a little more to help with visuals in a dark room.Overall, I feel like my hands have adapted to this keyboard extremely well, and if it holds up, I will be happy. I've tried some other keyboards from different brands, and this one is nearly perfect for what I'd like.Update 6/26/26I still am loving this keyboard. I actually bought a second one because I just love the way it feels. There is one caveat, based on my experience since having - I have noticed that when it is wired, it's absolutely flawless, but when using Bluetooth or the 2.4, it may give me repeat letters, but only if I am typing a word that already has repeat letters, like the word 'finally' might come out as 'finallly'. That happens pretty infrequently, and I never have this issue with this happening when I am using it on the wired setting.I just love having a smaller sized keyboard that has a good feel to it - so many feel cheap and - and to get a keyboard that is like 75% without having to resort to a mechanical keyboard is awesome. Trust me, I've tried pretty much every mechanical keyboard and switches available and haven't been happy. Maybe it's because I grew up with typewriters that were loud and noisy at every keystroke, but I just want something that is quiet, fits on my limited space keyboard tray, and just lets me type without a lot of RGB distractions. One final Positive! thing - the wire (if that's your connection method) is on the back! I bought so many keyboards that were supposed to be minimal and then they put the connection off one side or another (usually on the left where it interferes with a pull out keyboard tray) - I can't figure out why they would do this. It easily adds another centimeter of space that you're probably already concerned about when you're looking for a small keyboard. This keyboard puts it cleanly on the back, and with a 90 degree cable, it's so easy to manage.

Excellent Ultra-Slim Keyboard for Mac and Windows
The Keychron B1 Pro is a really impressive keyboard for such a slim and lightweight design. I especially like the flexibility of having three connection options: 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth, and wired USB-C. That makes it easy to use with a desktop, laptop, tablet, or phone without being locked into one connection method. The Mac-friendly layout is another big plus, while still supporting Windows and Linux. The 75% layout keeps the keyboard compact without feeling overly cramped, and the concave keycaps give it a comfortable typing feel. The ZMK and Keychron Launcher support is also a huge bonus if you like customizing your keyboard and remapping keys.Battery life is particularly impressive too, with Keychron rating it for up to 1,200 hours on a charge. For anyone wanting something thin, portable, durable, quiet, and versatile without giving up customization options, the B1 Pro is a fantastic keyboard. Unmatched responsiveness and durability.

From 4 stars to 1 star in 1.5 years. LOOK AT THE 1 STAR REVIEWS.
Update 8/12/2026I hate this keyboard and this company with a fiery passion. I kept using it cause I felt bad about electrical waste and the problem is intermittent. Sometimes I can go weeks or months without it occurring but I've had enough and will buy something else. Looks like I'm not the only one and all the 1 star reviews highlight the same glitch and issues with bluetooth connectivity. Product is trash and planned obsolescence is real.Update 3/16/2026 to 1 starThe keyboard protective covering ripped when cleaning. The keyboard also glitches often and randomly goes on CAPLOCKS or selects wrong punctuation keys as if I'm holding down the shift button when I'm not. Ex. I don't recommend this product. --> I DON"T RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT> Contacted customer support and they say they can’t do anything because it’s out of warranty. Conclusion: this is a poorly made keyboard and the company doesn’t stand by it’s products. Never buying Keychron again.UPDATE 9/29/2025 to 3 startsBattery life is GREAT. However, I'm really feeling the sting from the lack of backlit.Keyboard protective covering gets oily easily. I'm already seeing oil stains, and due to the material, it transfers the oils to the keyboard.4/5 stars-1 star because there's no backlit light and I would have liked the pairing between different devices to be a bit speedier when connecting (there's a 5-ish second delay and requires me to push the fn+# key sometimes two or three times).I genuinely really like this keyboard. It's small, compact, and comes with a keyboard protector to prevent dust and oils from transferring to the keys, and it holds a solid charge!

A good, full size travel keyboard.
I have used a folding keyboard for years, for my iPad and phone but this is a game changer. I actually like using it. The keys have good action, are full size and the keyboard is thin enough to slide into my backpack without taking up much space. It feels solid, but is lightweight. It has good battery life and has multiple connectivity options, although I primarily use Bluetooth. It is now part of my mobile office setup.

Don't buy if you use the up/down arrow keys a lot. See notes on F-key placement. Otherwise, good!
If you use the up/down arrow keys a lot (e.g. for Excel, writing code, lots of word processing, etc.) then you'll likely be disappointed. The right/left arrow keys are fine, but the up/down keys are small, effectively have no gap between them, and feel very mushy/unresponsive.It's hard to only hit one of the up/down arrows at a time and the mushiness matters in that they don't seem to return as fast as all the other keys, which makes it difficult to use when hitting the key repeatedly/quickly.The F-keys don't line up with the number keys (a common arrangement for F1-F10), but they also aren't grouped sets of 4 (another common arrangement). If your muscle memory is set up for either, just know you'll have to get used to this or look elsewhere (e.g. the much more pricey Logitech MX keys, where they line up with the number keys). All that said, being able to customize keys and add macros to the keyboard itself without running software on your computer (or being out of luck with a tablet, etc.) is fantastic. There is a premium keyboard that costs several times this amount that does not offer this.More importantly the switches (keys) feel nice if you're not expecting/looking for a mechanical. I'm not, but unfortunately the arrow key thing is a deal killer for me.I don't care so much about looks but I think it looks really nice. I bought the white and blue combo and it's subtle but more interesting than the all-white keyboards that are so common.Overall it's a great product, but keeping the size this small resulted in it being unfit for my purposes.

Great keyboard for the price
This keyboard is honestly such a steal. If you’re a fan of that classic Apple Magic Keyboard vibe but can’t justify the "Apple Tax," this is definitely the move.It has a really high-quality look and feel right out of the box. The spacing between the keys is perfect—not too cramped, so it’s actually comfortable to type on for a while. One of the best parts is the sound; it’s nice, quiet, and super satisfying, so you won't be annoying everyone around you. Plus, it’s super versatile since it works with pretty much every device. Definitely looks and feels way more expensive than it actually is.
