Lots of features for not a lot of money
There is a lot to like about this barcode scanner. First, this product is attractively priced ($29.99 as of this writing). For that low price, I’m impressed that it scans a variety of 1D, 2D, and QR barcodes. I especially appreciate that it communicates wirelessly using Bluetooth and it even includes a Bluetooth dongle for users who have computers that lack a built-in Bluetooth receiver. I tested it by reading several different types of barcodes and it worked well with all of them (including a UPC and an ISBN code on a book). It feels like it is solidly built, and the product description claims that it will survive a fall from 5 feet to a concrete floor. While I didn’t test that claim, I suspect it is probably accurate. In summary, for people looking for an inexpensive barcode scanner who don’t need a truly ruggedized one, I think this is a great product for a low price.

Great for the price, works pretty well
⭐⭐⭐⭐The NYEAR Bluetooth 2D & QR Barcode Scanner is a reliable and efficient tool that has significantly streamlined my workflow. With its impressive battery life and seamless compatibility, it's a solid choice for anyone in need of a versatile barcode scanning solution.First and foremost, let's talk about battery life. I've been pleasantly surprised by how long the scanner lasts on a single charge. Even with heavy usage throughout the day, I rarely find myself needing to recharge it. This extended battery life is a huge plus for me, as it means I can rely on the scanner to keep up with my workload without constantly worrying about running out of power. In terms of compatibility, I haven't encountered any issues whatsoever. The scanner pairs effortlessly with my devices via Bluetooth, whether it's a desktop computer, laptop, or mobile device. The setup process is quick and straightforward, and I appreciate the seamless integration with various operating systems and software applications. It's reassuring to know that I can rely on the scanner to work seamlessly with whatever device I'm using, without any compatibility headaches. The scanning performance of the NYEAR scanner is also worth mentioning. It's fast, accurate, and capable of reading both 2D barcodes and QR codes with ease. Whether I'm scanning items in a retail environment, tracking inventory in a warehouse, or processing tickets at an event, the scanner delivers reliable results every time. The ergonomic design and lightweight construction make it comfortable to use for extended periods, reducing fatigue during long scanning sessions. However, there are a couple of areas where the scanner falls short of a perfect rating. Firstly, while the scanning performance is generally excellent, I've noticed that it occasionally struggles with poorly printed or damaged barcodes. While this is to be expected to some extent, it can be frustrating when trying to scan items with less-than-perfect labels.Additionally, the build quality of the scanner feels a bit plasticky and flimsy compared to more premium models on the market. While it hasn't affected performance thus far, I worry about its long-term durability and resilience to drops or impacts. In conclusion, the NYEAR Bluetooth 2D & QR Barcode Scanner is a solid choice for anyone in need of a reliable and versatile scanning solution. With its impressive battery life, seamless compatibility, and efficient performance, it's a valuable tool that has made my workflow much smoother. While there are some minor drawbacks to consider, they are outweighed by the scanner's overall functionality and reliability. Four stars.

Disappointed
Works great for muting and unmuting everyone Jabra headset in an 20ft radius. Also inserts wrong characters when it works at all. This scanner caused more frustration than manually typing in circuit pack bar code numbers…

Great for the price point
This Scanner is nothing crazy, but it does exactly what I need it to do. It scans barcodes which get sent to an app on my phone and I then create my own description for the items.I'm not sure if It's supposed to do more than that, but it does what I need, so 5 stars.

Works but is a little quirky
It works. The cable is good and the size of the wand is nice. But, its a little quirky and the instructions are a clearly translated a little funny.

Good App Based Scanner
This NYEAR Bluetooth Barcode Scanner is a good fit for our mostly 1D scanning tasks. We scan primarily product UPCs in small batches for product inventory, and it works great in that application. We LOVE that the settings are app based, as most scanners come with a book of barcodes (that rarely work for us), and you're in big trouble if you loose the tiny little book. Nice to see someone went the extra mile to create an app that solves those problems. The scanner offers automatic continuous scanning (which we don't usually need), but still a good feature to have. Also, the scanner comes with 16MB of inventory memory, which should be plenty if you want to scan in stored mode and download the data later.Overall, the NYEAR Barcode Scanner meets all our needs, and the App was a big plus for us.

Reasonable for price but quirky
Bluetooth connection seemed to be my most difficult problem. Full disclosure, the computer I used at first was an aging but well-equipped iMac. I had some success getting this one to work, however dependability and descent range is important in my situation so I moved on to another model.
