I have a lot of different smart devices in my home, both Google- and Amazon-compliant. I have found that Geeni products work with both Alexa and Google without issue. Setup takes seconds (since I already have the app installed, and a large base of Geeni devices already operational) and it seems like the interface has only grown more seamless between the latest Geeni products, and my Echo Dot and Google Home devices.In fact, I no longer buy any smart bulbs, switches, or plugs except the Geeni brand, because I know I can rely on them to just...work.As for this particular product, it was just what I was looking for to control the Christmas lights in front of my house, without having to worry the weather would fry a lesser device. It's solid, seems very durable, and will definitely be part of all of my outdoor decorating from here on out. No more playing around with clunky timers; this not only allowed me to set up a schedule, but because of Alexa/Google integration, also allows me to control them directly from the comfort of my cozy chair in front of my fireplace, just by telling Alexa or Google I want them on or off.It's basically all you could hope for from this type of plug.

I bought these for Christmas lights but decided to try them out on backyard lights for a tiki theme. Took it a little bit to connect, but it is the farthest point from our router outside, so that didn't help. Now it is connected and I'm able to set times for on and off or just control myself. Worked so great, I bought another for the front yard.

This company does not stand behind their products. I have many Geeni products and have been pleased until I have had to contact customer service. They definitely give the customer the run around. Everything you call about must go through the development team. They claim they will get back to you! Haha good luck with that. I’ve given up I will be swapping all my Geeni products to a company that stands behind their products! This company is a joke! Update: still waiting on Development Team! They have stopped responding to my emails! Kasa products look like a good replacement one thing for sure customer service couldn’t be any worse!

I’ve been an Amazon smart plug purist because they work so well and install like a breeze. I needed an outdoor solution, so I decided to try this one and the price was right.Short story, it’s working now and the little cord makes it easy to plug into the weatherproof box outside.I tried for an hour to get it to connect. Confusing about which method to use. I tried them all (Bluetooth, manual, automatic) and nothing would work. Instructions and web search no help. The app was seeing the device, but it would not connect.I brought it inside and sat right next to my router. Nothing.Finally, just on a hunch, I unplugged my Roku and my security camera. By the time I returned to my phone, there was a big green check mark and it was connected and working.I guess I need to increase my wifi speed.It controls my outdoor lights just fine. A little lag on the on/off function but nothing too bad.Overall for the price, and to not get mosquito bites to turn off the lights, I’m pretty pleased so far.

This smart outdoor double outlet is a great addition to my outdoor lighting. With my geeni app I can turn on or off anything plugged into each outlet and set multiple timers for each outlet. I also love my geeni smart light bulbs and indoor outlets.

I recently purchased it and attached a string light cord, which works perfectly. I scheduled the lighting using an intelligent app and connected it to my Alexa without issues.
