The Ultimate Construction Site Book (Ultimate Book, 2) Review: Great Gift - Great Fun Book with whole details. My son loved the book so much. Review: Fun educational book - This book is a big hit! My 5 year old son and I read it so many times since we ordered this in April. It has cute illustration and 60 flaps and pop-ups which make the book even more exciting. And because of this, I don’t recommend this book to young kids under 3 though. Some flaps might be tricky for younger kids. Even I as a parent learned so much about construction.

Great book, but the other book of the same author is much better
This is a very high quality book, chock a block full of information about construction sites, with lots of imaginative flaps, things that swivel, move, and fold. HOWEVER...it is not as good as "The Ultimate Book of Vehicles" by the same author. The "Vehicles" book is more appropriate for kids 3 years and up: It is still full of awesome flaps, swivels, and things that move, but it is simpler, with pictures of the vehicle, the name of the vehicle, and maybe a few names of the parts of the vehicle. You open up a flap to see inside, make it move, etc. My son found it very interesting. The "Construction" is really aimed for older kids, I'm guessing 5 and up, maybe even older. There are just so many words on the page, and so much information. The flaps are not as interesting as the previous book, and I found many of the moving parts to be "sticky", and my 3 year old ripped quite a few out within a week of reading the book. We have not ripped anything from the "Vehicle" book. So I would say if you have an older kid who wants to gain a lot of knowledge about construction sites, this book is for you. But if you have a younger child (3 and up, any younger and they'd destroy the book), get the "Vehicle" book.

So Much Fun And Very Informative
This book has been a winner in our house since it arrived. Each page has so many flaps, spins, pulls and movement. So many new words and easy explanations for the kids. The pictures are beautifully designed and each time we look through it we find more details we missed! The book is an excellent purchase and definitely worth every penny!

Excellent book taught us all a lot!
Got this for my construction lover. We can spend ages on a single page, or run through the whole book 'quickly'. I love the pulls, tabs and especially the descriptions of everything. How is a building built? What about a roller coaster or a road? We did rip a few pieces, like the big crane and the roller coaster track. The track reattached ok, but I haven't tried to fix the crane since there are still 2 pieces connected in the book.

So fun!
A must if your kiddo likes anything construction! So much to look at and move around on each page. We’ve lost a few pieces from our two year old moving pieces around but holding up better than I expected especially with everyday use.

Boy liked
Boy loved all the flaps/things he could move in the book. Would like it a bit more sturdy as it ripped in one spot, but kids….

As the spouse and I are both construction workers we wanted to get the grandkids excited about construction too and this will be great. It's not one of those "ooh! ahh!" spectacular popups, but the flaps do hide fun secrets like a breakroom, winch, rats, little things. Often the layering is simply useful to illustrate the layers of the worksite or machinery rather than as art. And there are things like a load on a crane that you can slide into position. It's enough to keep a fidgetty kid engaged. The written stuff is explained simply enough for kids to follow and not get bored or confused, yet it is informative and very thorough, and as far as I can tell, accurate. It's not so wordy as to get overwhelming. The backgrounds are elaborate. As a female construction worker I was happy to see they did mix in some women. There's also diversity of age, race, mood, size and hairstyle. So you might do a Where's Waldo-esque thing like challenge your kid to find the guy with the grey mustache or whatnot. And some of the background people have a little story like one guy was digging with a backhoe iirc, and dug up a treasure chest lol! And I liked that one pic had background details showing how wildlife can be protected by planning the work wisely- there is a toad migration tunnel under a freeway iirc. So it's plenty entertaining just to look at the pictures It's the sort of book where you can sit with it for hours on a long car ride, or just look at it for ten minutes, and it will hit the spot. I think it will be enjoyable for many rereadings. The art is cheerful yet realistic. I really can't think of any negatives, it's a great book. But having not gifted it yet, I can't say for sure what kids think.

Bayıldım bayıldım. Kalitesine açıklayıcılığına herşeyine. Kalınlığı çok iyi. Türkçe olanda neredeyse aynı fiyat ve kalitesiz .
