Ryobi RY18BLCXA-0 18V ONE+ Brushless Compact Blower (Bare Tool)

Used to “dry” my car. Well made. Very light and effective. Very effective on cars with” strong beeding”. Blows away water very easily.Replaces leaf blower (although not quite as power).

Bought to replace a corded air blower. Very powerful but also controllable via the trigger, and being cordless it is so convenient when cleaning out air filters on the Dyson and robot vacs, PC cases etc. Even used it to air dry the car after a wash.

A small, lightweight but powerful blower! Really needs the larger Ryobi battery otherwise it won’t last long each time… i use inside the car to blow out dust and to help dry the car after washing… blows away leaves from the garden really well although I tend to use my larger blower for this as the battery goes quickly

Does the job but not perfect, still need to dry with drying cloth. Need to buy bigger batteries to last one car dry.

I was a little shocked how powerful it is - at full power it is noisy and drains batteries, but for its size it’s very good and easy to get into corners and hard to reach places.

I purchased this off the back of YouTube reviewers raving about how good this is for drying cars after washing, regrettably mine is sitting in its box ready to be returned to Amazon which thankfully have excellent returns, so glad I bought it here rather than elsewhere.The blower is reasonably powerful, the issue is with the run times of batteries which last 10mins max before being depleted. I have 3x Ryobi 18v 5AH batteries all fairly new & in good health & found I could get a side blown down & either a front or rear before having to change batteries which means you are going to need a minimum of two batteries in order to use this blower on an average sized car which is crazy, if you have a bigger car or more than one car then this blower just isn’t viable at all.Some reviewers say it only works sufficiently if the car is ceramic coated, my car is always treated with hydrophobic coatings which work similar to ceramic coatings so water does disperse efficiently but maybe with a ceramic coating you may get better results, it’s still not fit for this purpose however if you ask me.Also the time it takes to dry the car down is longer than if you just towel dried it, you don’t need to invest in expensive battery packs & be constantly charging them like you do with this device, my advice is to stick with towel drying!
