Easy installation picture quality is great
Easy to install and set up we had bought 4 and installed and set up in about an hour . Camera quality is much better than the old models and small size is great they are compact and easily moved if needed. For just over 100 dollars well worth the money for a little security. Visibility is really good and the app is easily used and can change settings quickly if needed . Will see over the next few months how we Well they continue to work . And the subscription is much more affordable than most cameras. They are also magnetic which I did use on the inside cameras but not sure if they are strong enough to hold outside so we opted to screw it to the house outside rather then using magnets. Over all happy with the purchase of the v3 model. Big improvement over the older models.

Easiest cameras to setup and use
These wired Wi-Fi cameras are small, high quality, and, if you have an SD card, subscription-free. They are quick to connect, notify you when they lose their Wi-Fi connection, and come with a nifty app. They can do motion detection, record as long as your card has storage, and there’s no battery to worry about. Highly recommended for the price!

Excellent cameras
Camera image are very clear , Deliver excellent security with all the notifications you want. You just have to make sure your WiFi signal is strong for them to work properly. I added a wifi extender in one corner of the house get a better signal to the cameras and it worked great. Highly recommend them and for the price you can cover it all.

Great product for the price
Great product with nice features for an awesome price. I have 10 of them. Unfortunately 1 bricked after an update and 2 others developed issues recognizing and recording to micro SD card. The ability of the cameras to identify things like cars, pets, people etc is not accurate. At times they fail to identify sounds. I placed 2 side by side with identical settings. One accurately picked up a fire siren one street over and recorded it while the one next to it didn’t. While sometimes not recording loud sounds, they will pick up and record the faint sound of an insect yards away. But at least they can sometimes pick up and record sounds because other more expensive brands do not. They aren’t perfect but you can’t beat them for the price.

Affordable camera with many features for the price, affordable subscription plans
I think it is a decent camera and better than battery operated alternatives. The provided plastic wall anchor for the screw seems to be larger than the screw. I tried using it for drywall and the screw was not held tightly and could almost be pulled in and out of the plastic anchor using only the fingers. So you may need to buy different mounting screws. There is a desktop app for viewing cameras in a web browser from a laptop or a computer. Most do not offer this feature. It allows me to view the cameras in live view with sound. It also allows me to view recorded events when motion was detected. There are some limitations though. The events do not play back sound on either browser and says "this feature is coming soon." I'm still waiting. . . When clicking on the Events tab and switching the the recorded events webpage, it does not refresh automatically. You have to manually refresh the page after it loads to see any new events. So the web portal is not perfect but it is a main reason why I went with Wyze versus the more popular alternatives. I use 2 of these cameras outdoors. They have a limited field of view but if placed strategically and at the right angle, you can get most of what you want within view of the camera. I think the Wyze software is good and that the prices for subscriptions are affordable and reasonable. The sound quality when trying to use this as a two way speaking device are terrible. There is a lot of feedback as the voice inside gets pumped outside to the camera and the sound of the mic gets fed into the speaker of the camera itself by way of a feedback loop. This quickly creates an echo that increases in volume and intensity. The only solution is to mute the microphone temporarily. It also doesn't always send voice inside from the Wyze app to the speaker outside on the camera. It does pick up decent sound from outside during recordings if you choose to record sound during recorded events. Recorded events tend to be short. They are quick to cut off and slight delayed to start on all of my various models of Wyze cameras. The strength lies in the live view and the ability to politely warn anyone passing by that they are being recorded, which encourages them to think twice before misbehaving and to move on. Pictures and clips can also be recorded from the live view. Recorded events can be filtered by camera or be type of event (only people or people and vehicles for example) making it easier to find types of recorded events that you are looking for. There is a light on this camera but for dark nights it provides almost no illumination so it essentially worthless as a porch light. It is enough light to enhance the image on recorded events but nothing else. The light can be set to turn on if motion is detected and the camera is recording which could be a deterrent to someone lurking around in the dark in view of the camera. The light combined with the verbal warning that you are currently being recorded could be enough to prevent unwanted trespassers. I would recommend this camera indoors for pets, children or general home security as well. We tried it briefly and were able to see our pets in real time while shopping at the grocery store. The image quality is good and night vision can be turned on if needed in darker areas. I found that we didn't really need it as there was usually enough ambient light outdoors and the cameras are able to detect colors and have good image quality even in very low light conditions. I would recommend this camera despite some of its drawbacks -- light is weak, two way talk is largely unusable, limited field of view, recorded events are often clipped and too short. But It is cost effective, the subscription is affordable for now, the image quality is great and the camera has features and settings that can be toggled in the Wyze app. Please note the included power cable is very short and the plug is not weather proof so if using outdoors you will need to buy a different cable. I bought a 2Pack 20FT Flat Power Extension Cable for Wyze Cam on Amazon and ran the cables into the house to plug them in. One I brought through a small hole drilled in the floor and then sealed it with waterproof silicon. The other was able to run under the front door and into the house since the cable is flat with a thin profile.

Garbage Alert
As I have seen in past reviews, if I could give a negative star I would emphatically do so. From my experience and perspective this product is pure trash /garbage, the Wyze company has shady business policies, and there is virtually no interest in customer service. Now to the WHY- I purchased the product to provide remote security for a second home we recently inherited. We wanted to be alerted to someone coming on the property, plus we wanted to have a periodic view of the home. I would assume a remote purpose would be fairly common, and constitute a reasonable number of their customers. We purchased 4 cameras which we installed on a recent visit. The purchase was coordinated with the visit. The cameras were installed 5 days from the date of purchase. The setup was relatively easy, and the cameras appeared to operational. BUYERS BEWARE... When setting up the camera you will come to a no go-stop step. You will need to purchase a subscription before being allowed to progress. I did not see this mentioned in any of the reviews or literature published by Wyze. I had to purchase a subscription for each individual camera. In total this amounted to ~$425 that I did not anticipate. We left the residence the next day. Everything was operational when we left. Upon arriving at our permanent residence we checked the camera status. Everything was offline and not operational. We researched all the trouble shooting material published by Wyze. The remote reset did not work. At this point we reached out to the Wyze customer service team. It is essentially all AI for the first couple of layers. We finally spoke with a member of their technical team. The only trouble shooting solution that was offered was a manual reboot, ie, unplug the device-wait 10 sec- and then plug it back in. I attempted to explain that we purchased the device as a remote option. It is a 12 hour travel to the residence. A manual reboot was just not practical. I requested a refund. I told them I would return the devices when I returned to the residence and removed them. They stated that they only have a 30 day return window, and that I could not queue the refund request. As such, the devices were completely inoperable less than 24 hours after installation or 7 days from purchase. BUYER BEWARER #2. There entire customer service service appears to be entirely AI. They do not offer the option to speak with a team member of representative. Everything is by email, and the responses are classic AI. If you are intending to purchase this device as a remote option, look for a different product. If you want customer service to support your purchase, choose another vendor. As for my purchase, it will be going in the dumpster where it belongs

Budget friendly + easy install + excellent resolution = great choice for home security
⭐⭐ I’m impressed!! I purchased two of the Wyze Cam v4 (2.5K HD) cameras about four months ago, and overall I’m very happy with them. Below is a breakdown of what works well and what I’ve noticed. What I Like: 1. Image quality & night vision: The clarity is excellent, even in low light. The color night vision is a big upgrade over older security cams I’ve used (Lorex). I can make out faces and details at night. I compared this to my Ring Doorbell 3 Plus that I reinstalled at the same time as these, and it’s not a comparison at all. The Wyze (to be fair, it’s newer and has more advanced technology) is much clearer during the day, and especially at night. At night, the Ring only works for items up close and rarely catches movement more than about six feet away. 2. Indoor/outdoor flexibility: These are weather rated (IP65), so I’ve used one outside under a covered porch and one on the eve of the house. The one on the eve is exposed to so much more weather, and is handling it like a champ. They handle light rain/dampness just fine (so far)…snow is coming; we will see about how that is! 3. Motion-activated spotlight + siren: When motion is detected, the LED spotlight and voice warning kick in. Both are optional and you can shut them off, but having the spot light turn on is lovely. This light is bright enough to avoid putting on our outside light at night. This is helpful as a deterrent. The siren is fairly loud, but not something I require the use of. 4. Setup & app usability: Setup was straightforward. The magnets on the bases are amazing, plus each cam comes with permanent mounting hardware. I have yet to use the permanent mounts; the magnets are prefect. The one cam is stuck upside down to a metal piece under the eve, and it’s stayed through crazy wind and weather without issue. The other is resting on a screw on the handrail of the deck and it doesn’t move either. The Wyze app is intuitive, and switching between my two cameras is seamless. The dual audio (two-way) works well when I check in. 5. Value for money: For the features you get (2.5K resolution, weather rating, color night vision, motion alerts, etc.), this is a strong value. I feel like I got “more cam for the money.” Who’d have thought for $50 I could get a great quality security camera? ⚠️ What I’ve Noticed / What Could Be Better • Power / wiring limitations These are wired cameras (not battery based). If your location is far from a power outlet, you need to order longer cables. I had to order a couple of 20 foot cables separately since I didn’t have an outlet 5 feet away. This was a bit of a hassle. • Motion detection false positives: Occasionally, I get alerts from shifting shadows, or leaves/branches blowing in the wind. And sometimes I get alerts from rain. Let’s not forget spiderwebs and the odd moth. The detection isn’t perfect. You’ll want to fine-tune your sensitivity settings and zones to reduce false alerts. During rainstorms, I reduce my sensitivity a fair bit so if a still get alerts but not hundreds over a short period. • Latency / lag: There’s a slight (or sometimes a little longer) delay (a second or two, up to 5 to 10 seconds) between motion and when the live feed shows up. It’s not a deal breaker, but worth noting if you’re expecting instant response. I suspect this is due to my Wifi and not the cameras/app themselves. I did not want to wire any camera with Ethernet direct again, so this is the cost of using wireless, in my opinion. • Subscription vs local recording To get advanced features (person, package, pet detection), a Cam Plus subscription helps. But if you don’t want to pay, local microSD recording is viable, though you lose some “smart detection” features. And this was the basic subscription I got, not the Cam Unlimited Pro. The Unlimited Pro actually recognizes faces you have saved in the app as family/friends (which makes notifications of people a lot easier), allows you to search with a search button for specific events (rather than scrolling nonstop), 60 day cloud backup (vs 14 on Cam Plus), etc. I didn’t need this feature, but did want cloud backup so I chose the Cam Plus. 💡 Tips / Best Practices l • Place the camera at about 7–9 ft height (2–3 meters); high enough to reduce tampering, low enough for good detail. • Point the motion zone toward typical movement paths (walkway, door, driveway) to reduce stray triggers. • Use decent microSD cards (if using local storage); go for brands with good write speed and reliability. • Test the setup at night after installation to ensure the color night vision works well where you place it. In summary: If you’re looking for an affordable, capable camera for both indoor and outdoor use, the Wyze Cam v4 is a strong pick. Between my two units, I haven’t had any major issues yet, and I feel confident in their performance. Of course, like all cameras, they aren’t perfect; but for the price and features, I’d recommend it.

Can't see the video recorded unless you need to pay monthly subscription for each camera.

camera OK but subscription excessive
Camera is fine and a reasonable priced at around £50 each but the cost of using the clever detection and storage feature is ridiculous. £140 per year for their enhanced detection. Anywhere you go in the app it is trying to flog you their subscription service. It also doesn't work with Apple Home which is why I bought it.

Excelente calidad precio
Las mejores cámaras. Aún mejor precio la imagen es increíble. La opción como la tengo configurada es que no graba en tiempo completo sino que graba cuando hay movimiento. Excelente para mascotas
