Its dimensions are practical for a range of applications, fitting seamlessly into various spaces. Included photos for size reference against standard kitchen cabinets. If looking to use as a cutting block or countertop you can see it will fit without a lot of overhang. Durable and attractive with a smooth, natural grain that will look great with whatever finish or stains you choose. Keep in mind if considering this the unfinished state requires some additional effort and DIY efforts. It is not ready and pre-finished this one is a blank slate ready for your own personal touches and finishes.

I purchased the 48" and 42" butcher block tops to build workbenches for my electronics shop, and overall I’m very happy with how they turned out. Both tops arrived super fast, were well packaged, protected, and surprisingly heavy and solid feeling. Since these are unfinished tops, they definitely require sanding and sealing before use. This was actually my first time ever finishing butcher block, so there was a bit of a learning curve. I ended up using a good water-based polycrylic sealer, which made the process much easier than I expected. Applying multiple coats and sanding between coats was honestly the part I enjoyed the least, as it took more time and effort than I anticipated. That said, the end result was absolutely worth it. Even though my finish job is far from perfect, the countertops came out looking really good for a first attempt and completely transformed my new workspace. The wood itself looks great, perfect size,, feels sturdy, and works perfectly as a heavy-duty bench surface for electronics work. If you’re willing to put in a little effort finishing them, these make excellent and affordable workbench tops, desks, or custom countertops.

I was happy with this product. I see a lot of people talking about theirs splitting or whatever. That never happened to mine. I stained it up nicely and put about 12 coats of seal coat on it and it's used as a vanity top in my bathroom. Great value for a project piece of butcher block. My local lumber stores only sell full sheets of butcher block so this made perfect sense for the price

Very pleased. The first one I ordered had a crack, a small separation of wood. So initiated a return. And ordered another one which came the next day! For the money, I'm very pleased. There are some small spots which have filler, but that doesn't bother me. It's perfect for my baking table....I have it on a small desk. The oil really makes it beautiful!!

Be aware that the advertised size (18x25 in my case) is not too accurate, mine came about 1/8" undersized, so if you're fitting the board and need an exact size this may be an issue. Also the board was not flat, there were some undulations in the top surface. Since i'm using it for a workbench top i was able to plane it flat with a hand plane, but it is something to be aware of. For this price point I am ok with that, the wood is a bit soft but should be fine for a light use table top. Just don't use it as a cutting board.

Solid. I used it for my washer/dryer buildout! Converting garage to a lounge. I cut it in half. Company was prompt. Customer service is great. Sent a replacement right away when there was an issue with the original. I plan to stain it darker then seal it.

It isn't only doing this one the one end. I cut the other end to length and have started pressing wood filler into the cracks before I realized they were across almost every single glued line and in most cases the entire length on and off on the piece so figure cannot return since I started working on it. I cut off one end using the table saw to length I need and in less than a week both ends and the field are delaminated all the way through the piece even though it was sitting on a flat surface the entire time waiting for me to open and use. I wish I had noticed how bad it was delaminated and started filling what I thought were just a couple short cracks before I noticed how extreme the issue was. I should have paid attention to the other terrible reviews about delamination and not bought this one or the one I tried to cancel I ordered subsequently before I unboxed this one that amazon's third party customer service in a foreign country cannot cancel or reroute back to the amazon warehouse so instead I have to go through the hassel of doing a return on the second order and hauling it to a ups store to send back costing me more time and money because the product is complete trash. Do not buy this terrible quality item.
