Chivas Regal 18 Year Old Blended Scotch Whisky, 40% ABV, 70cl with Giftbox

Spendid bottle of whisky! I wanted to purchase a high quality scotch whisky and Chivas Regal 18 years certainly did not disappoint. It is very smooth to drink so no need to mix with coke. It has a rich wood and spice flavour without overpowering. I also tried the 12 year old Chivas and did notice a difference with the taste, as the 18 years i found had more spice and balanced flavour, so is worth upgrading if you are a whisky lover. The only negative is the price, would be better if it was slightly cheaper.

This is a quality blended whisky. However it is worth mentioning that Chivas Regal primarily markets itself towards the less experienced whisky drinkers (which is absolutely fine), since that is the largest profit margin.Personally I’m no single malt snob even though I have a number of wonderful whiskies in my collection ranging from £30-£350 and yet I still find myself enjoying blends such as this. Its not perfect by any means but for £50 it’s hard to criticize.You get aromas of sherry, fruits, oak, leather, toffee and perhaps some dark chocolate. And despite being only 40%abv it has a surprising amount of depth and is maybe a little too easy to drink. Whether you’re new to whisky and want to try something with a little more character or if you’re already experienced I think it’s worth a try.

This is one hell of a good tasting surprising whisky for a blended malt & worth every penny, I was lucky enough to taste 2 x miniatures before I purchased, it is very smooth and drinkable it has a multitude of tastes & has a very subtle lingering smoky after taste, fantastic

I'm a big fan of the standard 12 year old Chivas Regal, but having tried some of this in a duty free Airport Lounge, I knew I would have to but some of the 18 year old. More expensive but a beautifully rich and smooth taste. I recommend this for anyone who prefers non smoky whiskies.

A very good blended whisky which is booth smooth and has subtle flavors which linger on the palate. I would recommend it and think it is good value and an ideal gift for anyone who likes Speyside type malts.

A present for husband and he loves it

This is a lovely, smooth blend that stands up against similar single malts in the same price range. I love a well mixed blended whisky as much as a single malt, and have long been a fan of Johnny Walker's more expensive (Gold, Platinum, etc.) offerings and Ballatines 17 year old.This has something of the flavour of the JW Platinum in here but it is slightly less well balanced and more nutty in texture.

Chivas 18 is just pure class. It hits that perfect sweet spot where it feels super luxurious, but you don't feel guilty pouring yourself a dram after a long week. It's perfectly smooth with no harsh burn, just this warm, gentle wash of flavor. You get all these awesome notes. It's the kind of whisky you buy when you want something genuinely nice to sip neat or over a few ice cube. Definitely worth keeping on the shelf for those slightly more important moments.

Questo liquore è davvero ottimo per gli amanti die sapori forti!Invecchiato 18 anni quindi ha un sapore molto deciso e forte, ma comunque delicato, naturalmente proporzionato ai suoi 40% di gradazione alcolica!Se sei amante di questi tipo di liquore, questo fa per te!
