Giraffe Costume

This was a huge hit at my Halloween party. I'm a tall fella so this was a perfect costume. I also wore it to work and everyone took pictures with me. The pull over head piece made my beard pop which made it even more funny. I had to buy some stuffing from a fabric store to stuff the head part and then the head was a bit unstable and hard to keep on. But totally worth it. Great for parties and would definitely fit anyone. I'm 6'6" 240lbs and I had no problem getting this thing to fit me.

This costume was THE HIT wherever we went for Halloween. People wanted pictures, kids loved it, adults laughed, totally fun. I'm 5'7 and 140 and my hubby is 6'2 and 260 and WE BOTH were able to wear this costume ( we bought 2). It fit me bigger and him a little snug, which was okay, he was able to pull off the whole "I'm April the Giraffe thing" to win his costume contest at work. Perfect as-is TIPS for Added Fun: Stuff the head with the packing air bubbles - it's the lightest way to go. Also if you safety pin the costume to fit snugly around yours ears, that solves the neck problem and you can move without the head flopping, it keeps it balanced well. I stuffed the tail with cotton, there's an opening and the end of the tail. I added pipe cleaners inside the ears to make them stand out more and put large googly eyes over the costume eyes using adhesive velcro.

I've had this giraffe costume for over 2 years now and it is has lasted perfectly and with great memories! After much debate with myself I decided that my spirit animal was undoubtedly a giraffe given my 6'5' gangly frame, my curious and adventure-like attitude, and my ability to fine green (wink wink). The first experience with my Rasta Imposta Giraffe Costume was a ski trip with the boys in Breckenridge. Many shots of Jack later and a few special gummies I was in full fledged giraffe mode shredding the mountain. Now since Giraffes are natural born skiers I had no choice but to bust the sticks. I was the mountain celeb, smokin cigs, drinking out of a flask while taking pictures with families and hos a like. After finding the other giraffe on the mountain I found his outfit to not be a Rasta Imposta version and he truly was the fake. A brief scuffle ended in my ruling and a wonderful weekend. The giraffe kept modestly quiet until a spring bar crawl in Chicago that was animal-themed. We started at the Lincoln Park Zoo to pay our respects and gently touch the tips of our flasks and ended with sweaty grinding animals covered in a stench of puke, shame, smoke, and buffalo sauce. KILLED IT. The true test came at TomorrowWorld that following September and EDC Orlando that October. Sure I was often slightly hot but the thin material allowed for breathability. I also liked how I could stuff the giraffe head with newspaper for a head bobbing and limber form. Can't find your friends? as far as costumes go, it's good enough. I did not get this expecting that it would fit well, but it is definitely very large on me, and I am a slight above average woman are far as size goes. I am 5'7" and the top hangs about halfway down my thighs. the edges are also all only finished with a surger, they are not turned under, which does not look very good. The head of the giraffe need to be stuffed in order to stay up, but then once it is stuffed, it is too heavy to stay up with the help of the flimsy velcro that attaches it to the top. However, if you just want a giraffe costume for fun at a good price and don't care how it looks, this is the costume for you

This is a great costume. The only downside was the head. It fit pretty well, but after I put stuffing in it so that it would look the way it should, it was kind of heavy. Whenever I would move my head or look down it would slip around. However, after continuous cherry bombs and Busch Waters I quit caring as much and enjoyed looking like a giraffe. The hooves attached to the sleeves are absolutely perfect and can be worn, or not, wearer's choice. I chose not to wear the hooves all that much as it made gripping my ice cold beverage a little more difficult. When I did choose to slip them on, they were conveniently hanging from my sleeves. Funny costume, good price.

Bought this for this years Halloween festivities. Im about 6'2 140lbs, and the costume fit me nearly perfect. I was a little taller than what the costume was made for but think only I was aware since i couldnt velcro the head to the shirt properly. I stuffed the head with some cotton, and it did the trick of keeping the head up all evening. I had a lot of compliments during the evening. Wore the outfit for over 12 hours pretty comfortably, the head would shift a little when I danced around but thats a given. Had a pretty eventful evening and costume held together, so good quality.

Head is slightly floppy so stuffed it with tissue and it was brilliant.

I'm 6'4 (194cm) and this costume fit me very well. If you're just planning on taking it to a house party it should hold up well enough but anything outdoors will fray it quite a lot. The head comes floppy and so requires additional filling, I'd recommend bubble wrap.

Love it, I was hesitant to buy it because there was only one size, but it fits perfect

This outfit was a great success at a children's costume party but head piece a bit wobbly so needed to secure with safety pin.
