I gave it a 4* rating due to pot’s tendency to leave stains on hand or surfaces. The stains on my tiled floor were easily wiped off, but I’m uncertain about the potential for staining on fabric or carpet. The black material supporting the tree on the base of the pot can crack as evident in the photo -it’s like black charcoal and I believe that’s the culprit for the stains. Exercise caution when handling the product to avoid damage. Fortunately, I plan to place it in another pot, make it more stable. The back of the leaves have a lighter green hue, which can make the tree somewhat inconspicuous when placed near a light source. Notable advantages include the secure attachment of the leaves, ease of assembly, and a design that does not appear cheap. The height of the product 7ft is also satisfactory on my 9ft ceiling .

It is technically 7feet, but you may want to create more height at the base to get the most out of it.I DO like it and would recommend.

Perfect for the price

First off, I am probably more picky than other people. When I first opened the box, the first thing I seen was the trunk. It was green and not brown like I expected. I didn’t like it. I immediately started a return . Since I was trying to decide if I wanted an olive tree in that corner, I decided to open it and give it a try anyway.The tree came in sections . You put it together like an artificial Christmas tree. I immediately thought this tree was going back. It looked so silly and sparse. There was no way I was keeping it. The tiny pot that the tree sits in was filled with black cement type product. It was wet. It actually got all over my hands and I had to scrub it off with soap and water it has a pretty strong smell. I’m not sure why I kept going, but I did. I wish I would’ve taken a before picture but I didn’t. The tree needed lots of adjusting. I spent over one hour fluffing the branches and adjusting them. I was trying to get the tree to look a little more uniform. I set the tree in a larger pot. You really need that to make the tree look better. The tree is also top-heavy and wouldn’t stand up. I packed paper in around the larger pot to get it to stand. I still need to add moss to the top . The moss that comes with the tree isn’t near enough. Funny enough, after all the issues with the tree I think I’m keeping it as long as the smell dissipates . The branches themselves don’t smell , it’s the “concrete “ product . It turned out looking pretty good after I worked with it.
