If diamonds are suppose to be a girl's best friend, then this book will be a girls best pal. The book has really got good photos, and articles that are interesting about who bought, owned the peices and how they got the pieces of wonderful jewelry. Highly recommend it to anyone who has an eye for jewelry and a taste for the best things in life.

This book was described as "good." When it arrived, I would have described the book as in "poor" condition. The book's spine was separated and in numerous sections. Some pages were torn, etc. The information about Harry Winston and his business was not compromised...but the book sure was. I would have sent it back, but I needed the information readily...and decided to keep the book.

This book is a masterpiece, if you are passionate about jewelry it is a must-have. If you know someone that enjoys jewelry, it makes an amazing gift.

Put more books of Harry Winston

If you would live in Sri Lanka like myself now, beware the GPO has borrowed it for a unlimited time?At least they must have liked it too and would have given a 6 stars rating at least because for the soul who has "borrowed" it, it was absolutely free of charge!Silly me I loose the book which I would have had and now US$ 71.-- on top of it.By the way my first review since I am a customer since 1999 :)Watching was is happening in the World this is of course peanuts in comparisment.

First off, let me say that I have a large collection of books on jewelry, as well as auction catalogs, so I'm quite familiar with the work of Harry Winston, and have seen many of the truly astounding pieces that have come out of that revered house.Where are they in this book?!The book itself is what you would expect from a high quality jewelry publication; large format, high-quality paper, crisp photos. There's also a good amount of information about Harry Winston.What's lacking, however, are the examples of the work that has set Winston apart and made his name synonymous with the most magnificent examples of jewelry in the world.I was very excited to receive this book, having pre-ordered it as soon as it was available, only to be disappointed to see that I already have many better examples of Winston's work in other publications.

Wonderful and informative work on Harry Winston who had always been a very secretive person in real file. USomething for every library.
