80111 Fine Porcelain Carousel Horse Musical Figurine, 8-1/2-Inch, Blue

Husband bought this for our 20th annivsary and I just love it so pretty and it moves awesome

Each year I get my niece a music box for Christmas. She has eleven of them collected so far. This figurine was a great choice to add to her collection. The detail was amazing. The horse moves around and up and down the poll when you wind it up.

I'm so disappointed. I bought this for my niece's birthday. When I carefully took the horse and base out of the Styrofoam packaging the bottom just fell out. The actual music box housing underneath was cheaply glued in place. The glue must have gotten hard or old and the entire music housing fell out. I'm not sure the music plays well either. The winder seems very tight. Very disappointed! I am returning it for sure.

The ceramic music box is very beautiful. But the sound is not as good as I expected. And I waited looooong time for it.

I live figuring it's very pretty

This arrived fairly quickly. However, once I opened the box and carefully removed the product I realized instantly there was something wrong. The pole that the horse is on was off center, and would not balance. It was a gift for my husband's sister, and it took me hours to at least somewhat attempt to fix the problem. The only solution I could come up with was using a ton of elmers, superglue, and clear rubber bands to make it stable enough that it can still be used even if it is completely stationary. So if you prefer just hearing the music- that part works perfectly, it is clear, and is in tune, or if you just want it to look at (and can get it to stand up straight) it is lovely and the paint is well done. However, if you are planning on purchasing it for it to work as intended, don't count on it.

My mother collects carousel horses so I decided to get her this one for Christmas. The moment she pulled the horse out of the styrofoam, I know I had picked the right one. This horse is absolutely beautiful!
