VIVOHOME Pond Filter Pump 950GPH

I've only had this pump/filter for a couple of days, but it has done a good job of cleaning the water in my small pond. It seems to be well made and everything is functioning correctly. As others have said, the instruction manual needs some work. Some photos or diagrams of how to change the UV light bulb would be very helpful. There is also a sliding blue valve on the pump under all the foam filter media that is not mentioned in the manual. I would love to know what this is for. Should it be open or closed? Also, I would like to see the manufacturer sell replacement parts for this on Amazon also, like the UV bulb, filter foam and gravel bag. I bought the 950 GPH model and it is probably a little too powerful for my small pond, but it works. It is running my waterfall and the fountain with ease. The fountain head that came with it was throwing the water too far and emptying the pond, so I put my smaller fountain head from my old Laguna Powerjet on it and it now works perfectly. I still have to keep the flow rate turned way down on the fountain though. My Laguna Powerjet 3000 lasted for 23 years (used in summer only), so hopefully this pump will last at least 4 or 5 years. I will update my review if any problems pop up. ** Edited Sept 9 2026 ** The pump has been in use for almost 2 months now, and it has kept our pond water incredibly clean and clear, better than it's ever been before. There has been no algae growth at all. I clean the filter once a week and skim the pond with a net occasionally. I'm very glad I bought this.

Works great

I use this as a back-up pump, so it receives limited use, but works fine when I need it. However, after only six months, the filters have completely disintegrated. This would only be a nuisance if it weren't for the fact that there are no readily available replacements. Rufus recommends replacements that are laughable, and the company shows no available options. I guess I will have to manufacture something, so that the $100 isn't a complete waste.

Book of instructions need some images.It made a difference in our murky pond within hours. The book of instructions need to be more user friendly. But the product is quite impressive.

I am so happy with this filter. It a great size for my pond and had the water looking great with a few hours of installation. I love that it has two compartments, it makes taking it apart, cleaning and putting it back together so easy. The UV light also works great. I like the two fountain options and that it has such a long cord. The filter is sturdy and seems pretty durable. It’s definitely a great value for the money,
