Exceeds original installed part
item exceeds quality of OEM installed part on my 2016 Mazda CX 5. Original part was plastic and prone to breaking - replacement is metal and much sturdier. It should be noted that spring and pin are included unlike similar replacement that do not include spring/pin

Takes about 5 minutes to install. It’s metal instead of plastic like the original was so will not break. 100% recommend, now my console lid stays latched.

High quality replacement for my Mazda CX5
Very high quality compared to the original console latch the car came with. Worked perfectly to fix my broken one in my 2016 Mazda CX-5 grand touring. Only took a few minutes to replace. You can find an easy to follow video on YouTube!

Best replacement option! It’s metal and not flimsy plastic!
Pleasantly surprised at the ease of replacing this latch in my mother’s car. Apparently the stock part is flimsy plastic that breaks easily and the console was being held down with velcro when it was purchased. This one is made of metal!! It’s fantastic and I was not expecting that for $7.

Durable and easy to install
Easy to install however I don't feel like the latch catches as well as the plastic one that was in my car initially. With that being said, the metal one should never break so hopefully this is a one time purchase 😁

Received quickly, great fit and easy to replace!
The latch broke on the center console for our 2016 Mazda cx-5. I ordered this on amazon it came pretty quickly. After looking up some videos on YouTube on how to replace it looks like 5 minutes to install. Piece is solid fit well came with all the parts. Way better part then the stock part. There's tons on YouTube videos that show how to replace it.

Nice fit, works well.
So far so good. Metal replacement for a plastic OEM component. Simple install and fits nicely. Inserting the pin takes a little effort but that's not a surprise.

Easy install just watch YouTube. The fitment was perfect and it’s made of metal so peace of mind. The lid operation is smooth and latches just fine. I see other ones on amazon made of plastic and people complain about the hole for the pin being too small so they had to drill it bigger, that is nonsense, just buy this one.
