Westmalle Dubbel Beer, 6 x 33 cl

Not cheap for a small beer but still less than some Trappist or other strong beers. I don't regret buying them at all. A great, well rounded flavour. Not a beer you see in the supermarkets, so nice to get something a little different.

Fantastic beer, makes you remember what visiting Bruges is like. I enjoy in a real Westmalle glass which improves the experience!

Quite simply a World Class beer, one of those Try Before You Die beers! £2.10 at the minute on Amazon which is just a steal.

A great beer. Easy drinking dark beer with a rich taste.

Lovely strong Belgian ale. 7% vol, so not for the faint hearted. Plenty of depth and body with full mouth feel. Great value at £2.10 a bottle. Highly recommended.

This one was far far far, too gassy. A lovely dark colour to it. A reasonable hoppy smell to it. A half decent flavour to it. But just too much damn Fizz. I was drinking this after pouring it into my lovely thin beer glass. It was like drinking coke straight out of the can. That's how fizzy it was. Quite bizarre and not one for me. Good luck with the search for the perfect beer. I will continue on with my research. It's tough but hopefully ultimately rewarding.
