Made my lower unit look new!
This stuff works great on outboards! The machine gray is lighter than expected. I used a sandabke primer before this to hide some of the imperfections.

Finish issues with this color.
I have a lot of faith in Rustoleum products. Unfortunately, this particular paint didn’t meet expectations. The finish was inconsistent, with portions coming out great and others with a severe orange peel. This was the same with several cans of the same color.

“dark” grey is a medium not a dark
“dark machine grey” color isnt dark. it’s a medium to light grey. pictures with the can and a basic black part for comparison otherwise - this stuff sprays nice. keep in mind the recoat window - within one hour OR after 48 hours. anything else and it will aligator. would defintiely use again if the colors fit my needs
