E71 Mobile Phone Sim Free Unlocked - Black

I am very pleased with Nokia E71. I do know that nowadays everybody wants a touch screen and usually I-phone. I don't need any of them. The Nokia has the features I look for in a phone and most importantly, the best battery life you can find in a phone. I re-charge it once a week as I use it only for messages, phone calls and some e-mails. It has a feel of quality that is very rare to find, and I just think that the E72 can match the built quality of this phone. I would recommend it to anyone who needs a phone for the basic tasks (text, call and e-mail). The camera is good in daylight only. It has many other functions but not much used on a daily basis. The keyboard is perfect for texting/e-mailing. Better to me than the Blackberry. If you want a phone that feels, is and will ever be good, this is the phone for you.

I just received the phone nokia e71 and I would like to return it because it is all broken on each side is too bad :,( **I do not want to give a star but I am obliged: /

O had to send the phone back as it locked itself, I have a voda sim and the phone used to be orange, I sent it back as soon as I told the gentleman he put the money plus postage back into my account even before he received the phone back

As always when purchasing a product that was discontinued 5 years ago, there is a question about how new it really is. Mine, fulfilled by Amazon, arrived in what seems to be the original box. The box was not sealed and the battery had been inserted into the phone. Also the leather pouch, which was part of the original delivery for this phone, was not inside. Both of these facts suggest some "history". However the phone itself showed no signs of use, the screen protector was in place and there were no configurations that a user might have made. Why would anyone want to buy an obsolete phone? For me, it's the lavish stainless steel casing, the absence of an infuriating touch screen, long battery life and the fact that this product is designed to be a phone. You cannot get this quality from a current phone at any price. The drawback is an operating system (Symbian) that is fine for making calls and sending texts, but can be a bit tricky if you want to go online - and is, in general, powerful but quirky and of course obsolete. The built-in browser is not very good and I couldn't get the built-in email client to work. What I did was to get the WiFi connected, which is quite easy, get google on the browser (remember to type http://google.com because https:// addresses don't seem to work). Then google search to the Opera mobile browser. Opera will recognise that you gave a Symbian phone and offer you a choice of Opera Mini for Symbian versions 7.1 or 12. Download and install version 12. Having done this go online via Opera and find your regular email, just as you would on a computer. The small screen isn't much of a drawback compared with modern phones if Opera is used. Nice buttons and long battery life is a huge advantage. Fortunately, the mobile access point settings came through automatically from O2 via the WiFi connection. Summary - superb product and a bargain.

Nokia E71 Mobile Phone Sim Free Unlocked, all I wanted was a nice little phone with a qwerty keyboard for texting and making calls, the E71 fits the bill perfectly and I can get it in my pocket without fear of rupturing myself... If all you need is a small phone for the simple task of calls and text's this is it, yes, you can surf a little and email and play yer tunes, Beats the hell out of my old 5 inch smart phone.

The phone arrived early I was on holiday ! However it came with an Arabic keyboard so is not easily used I am trying at get it replaced or refund so I can look for an alternative. The problem may have been my fault in that I did not look too carefully at the picture and did not detect the Arabic letters.

Top phone, rock solid reliable and my favourite Nokia after the 6310i.

an und für sich ein echt gutes telefon nur der akku entlädt sich für meinen geschmack etwas schnell ansonsten tut das handy das was es soll echt zufriedenstellend

Achat pour une tierce personne qui n'utilise que cet appareil depuis 10 ans. Soucis aujourd'hui sans doute lié à l'age de l'appareil ; problèmes pour se connecter sur certains site par internet. Taille, ergonomie, poids, et facilité d'utilisation parfaitement adaptés au besoin de l'acheteur.

Ich hatte davor schon das gleiche Modell. Bei diesem fällt mir auf, daß die Batterie sehr schnell leer ist, d.h., sie hält noch nicht mal 2 Tageund zeigt noch nach Stunden an, daß sie am Laden ist. Ansonsten funktioniert es bei den Sachen, die ich brauche. Ich möchte gratis eine neue Batterie haben. Das mit der Ersatzbatterie hat nicht geklappt und auch das Ladekabel ist am Stecker gebrochen. Fazit: So zufrieden ich mit dem 1. Nojia E71 war, so unzufrieden bin ich mit dem Nachkauf. Definitiv keine Kaufempfehlung mehr!!!
