This is a fantastiic little stand! I have had it together and in service for almost two weeks now, and I am very satisfied. Steel base and powder coated aluminum structure. The only potential weak point might be the ball joint eventually, but the grip points are all solid.Currently I am using it with the VESA mount for an external monitor to use with my Ally X, and it's perfect. Keep your allen key nearby if you decide to pack up and go.The provided cover is of good quality, strong magnets, and fits perfectly. (Note, If you use the VESA mount method, the cover will not fit without some clever modification.)

Heavy base, good rotation. I use it for my portable monitor around the house. Since it has the spin on/off option to remove the screen you can add/use multiple adapters for different things

It is fairly sturdy but there is a plastic piece with two screws in the part which attaches to the monitor. I think this is why the monitor twists anit/clockwise while I am using it. It should really be rigid in that direction. The mount does not go very high so I need to add 6 inches of books

Great stand. Got it to install a small monitor with built-in speakers that I connect to my laptop for WFH days and I also use the monitor with my Steamdeck. The mount is sturdy and provides multiple points of adjustment. Comes with the tool and is easy to use.

There are a lot of portable LCD/LED/oLED screens on the market these days. They usually follow the tablet/laptop form factor. And most of them do not have any sort of mounting option other than their included cover/lid/stand combo that is usually not that great.This kit helps with that by offering a tabletop VESA mount stand, along with a VESA adapter sticker to adhere to the back of your smooth backed monitor or device.Usual warnings apply, clean the surface really well before sticking, apply smoothing force gently from the center outwards, etc...Once set, the adhesive offers a firm hold for the VESA mount to mate to, and hold your screen in place.While the adhesive pad has some thickness to it, I'm not sure how much surface texture it can accommodate, and in my case the back of the monitor was flat and smooth.Works better than an oversize tablet clamp, that's for sure.
