Hi, No the Ubiquiti Loco NS-5ACL can only be used with other Airmax devices. You can use 2 of these to link to an outbuilding but you will still need a conventional access point in the outbuilding for phones and laptops to connect to. I would suggest the Ubiquiti Amplifi AFI-P-HD-UK. Kind Regards LinITX

Q: What is the range of this device? Does it work through walls or does it need a direct line of sight??

10KM is what is advertised but I wouldn’t be using it for anything more than half that. Direct line of sight is required you may get it to work through a single wall on a short distance.

Q: If using this would it keep the original ip address, i need it to connect a series of ring cameras and they must all share the same ip.

Yes, you can assign a static IP address or DHCP (automatic allocation)
