I love this incentive spirometer. I wasn't able to take slow deep breaths when I do relaxation exercises and I would sometimes get out of breath when I wasn't doing anything strenuous. I was told to try a nice incentive spirometer like this one. I bought it and use it almost every day. Now I can take a slow deep breath and hold it. I don't get out of breath when other people do even though I'm not in great shape. I only get up to 3000 at the most, usually only 2500, so the size is perfect. It's easy to take the mouth piece and tube off for cleaning.

The instructions are quite brief, and better ones can be found on reliable (institutional) web sites otherwise your results may be puzzling or inaccurate. I would like to calibrate this with a professional spirometer in an office setting and get advice on the best way to use it. I will do so if a situation arises where we need to have accurate readings versus just experimentation.

I have been using the incentive spirometer that I bought recently on Amazon. It has helped expand my lung capacity.
