These are a brilliant way of getting small children interested in cooking and general food preparation. The knives really work well- they will cut fruit and vegetables but are not likely to cut little fingers by accident. They are sharp enough to work and feel very robust; if you really made an effort you probably could cut your fingers with them, but you’d really have to work at it; thus accidents are unlikely.Highly recommended for budding chefs and cooks.

I was so surprised by the quality of this kit and the user-friendliness. It's super easy to use and easy to clean, my two year old managed to cut a whole potato by herself using the crinkle cutter and has been able to occupy herself using the shape cutters to cut bananas etc. It packs away nicely in the box although the chopping board doesn't necessarily fit, I just sit the box on top of it in the cupboard. It's a great, productive kit for one on one or small group play for children and toddlers with adult supervision. It would make a great gift too as it was packaged in a fun box.

my 4yr old uses this regularly. loves helping in the kitchen. Knifes are sharp to cut the products but strangely dont cut the child.
